Wednesday, July 9, 2008. So my brilliant friend Karisse (there's a link to her blog Musings on the right) has introduced me to Kiva. Kiva's mission is to connect people through lending for the sake of alleviating poverty. A few people in, i saw my person. her name was patience! Patience Emmanual to be exact. (and i love the emmanual part, since that means 'God with us.") heres the information on patience:. At the website :). Thursday, July 3, 2008. Order in the court. We all judge others. whether we ...

Tuesday, October 14, 2008. What does 8.23 am on a Tuesday morning find me doing? Getting ready for work of course. Ive been working at the Town Square Library for almost a month now! The really funny thing is.I made more money as a missionary than I do as a 'legitimately' working woman. Go figure! I just thought that was endlessly funny. No weekends, no holidays. Goodness. Truly though, I only want this job if it is pleasing to the Lord, and is where He is guiding me, so I leave it in His hands. A Severe...

I Blame The Gangsters. I, quite frequently, misplace things, and consider them lost or stolen forever. Normally after a day or two of looking, or even actually taking the time to move things (a special trick my mom taught me for when I couldn't find something) I usually find the lost item, and, if need be, apologize to the person I blamed for losing it. Today I salute you, black, 30gb video iPod. We had some good times together, I'll never forget:. The time I put the cool Jesus mailing tape on your back.

There is a manager trainee for a Caribou in Wisconsin. I would like to introduce you to her, but since she is not on my blog, i decided to post a video that I feel represents pretty closely who she is. That is stinkin' funny! Hope you are doing great! If you recieve a letter from me that smells like coffee, its because I was drinking coffee while licking the envelopes. Sorry :). How ironic that his "high" for the week has been not getting high? Its so amazing that he is letting God guide him through all of this. But no, these are guy pants, VERY different.) This style if so you don't get your pants caught in the chain on the bike. This is a picture I took while reflecting on a few scriptures while on the beach. This is Corner Bakery, some sort of magi...

Not going to lie, I really want to hang out with my family right now too. And go camping/backpacking/hiking, or something outdoor related. It is getting cold in the Chicagoland area. And by cold, i mean that the past few weeks have been as cold as a Texas winter, and we still have SO far to go. (its been on average in the low 30's everyday). Last night I joined a few friends to go ice skating for one of their birthdays. When I got my skates, the guy asked, "Hockey, or figure skating? Now we are come to t...

Saturday, May 31, 2008. Its the end of the world as we know it. That exactly how ive felt at the end of every school, and why would this be any exception? This is probably the worst. these students have found a place in my heart that is only for them, and the last five months have been such a joy, exploring who they are, and coming alongside them and championing them further into their destiny with Jesus. what a freaking privilege! I love you Lord! Thursday, May 29, 2008. I missed you guys! I feel like t...
