Homeward Bound

July 31, 2015. We arrived home Monday night from our cross-country escapades completely exhausted (more on our adventures in another blog). As we pulled into our driveway, the first thing I noticed were my strawberry plants and herbs had withered away. They didn't appear to have been watered while I was gone, my heart sunk. After unloading the kids, I went went into our backyard to check on my tomato plants. Tears came, unexpectedly. They came for the work that I put into the plants, that was just gone.

Homeward Bound: March 2013

http://www.bobbyandlura.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html

March 4, 2013. Awesomeness and then some. Okay, so I've slacked on the blogging thing, so let me play a bit of catch up. The kids are doing great. Honestly amazing! Lucy is doing well too. She has to have surgery on her other knee, and has an appointment later this month to have her knee evaluated prior to surgery. The Jepson family is doing amazing. We are learning, growing and thriving every day. I love my family, and honestly, wouldn't change a thing. The good kid and the bad. Until she realized Gerga...

Homeward Bound: Two years....

http://www.bobbyandlura.blogspot.com/2014/12/two-years.html

December 8, 2014. I wasn't going to be one of "those" families. The family that brings home their kids and then drops off the face of the planet. I promise myself (and others) I would keep blogging.it was cathartic. But I did become one of those families.I'm sorry. I am going to be better. Let's focus on the positives :). Gergana and George have been home for 2 years now. TWO WHOLE YEARS! Adoption is hard, but I promise you it is worth it. The G's just had their first recited with ICAN! Its totally under...

D and L Arms. The life and times of Dawn and Larry. Sunday, May 24, 2009. This is possible in no small part to the fact that so many people have served in our nation's military forces to keep our nation free. Our holiday weekend of family, food, and drink is only possible because of the sacrifices of so many others. For these things I am truly thankful! D and L Armstrong. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). D and L Arms. The life and times of Dawn and Larry. Sunday, August 8, 2010. I also spent most of the summer taking Microsoft and Google computer courses. I learned a great deal about using a PC and Google to improve instruction in my computer literacy course. Dawn interviewed for positions as a special ed teacher at the start of the summer, as the district eliminated the position she has been in for the previous nine years. We are both looking forward to the start of school this week. D and L Armstrong.
