She was a very brave and caring person and continues as that in spirit form. It was an honor to know her as she walked this earth. Friday, May 30, 2008. Thanks for everyone's prayers and support. We are hoping to begin focusing on cancer care by the end of next week. We are feeling very blessed by the support we are receiving now and the path that is being laid out in front of us that appears to be a much better approach for Karen's healing path. We are amazed at the people who are being brought into Karen's life at this point. I will not mention names, at least not now, but these people are nothing short of earthly angels for us.

Monday, June 30, 2008. Well on her way to finishing ROUND 2. Karen has just completed Day 4 of the second round of IVs, she has 2 more days to go and then has 6 days off, as the routine goes. Her throat has been very sore and she has been unable to eat through her mouth the last few days except for water. It is good she had a peg tube placed about a month ago.
