Adventures with Lola: December 2009
http://adventureswithlola.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 11, 2009. That's all she wrote! So, here I am again, put away for another year. At least this year I'm at home, and not in The Barn in Osgoode, far away from my owners. The weather here lately has been crazy. We've had lots of snow (at least for Calgary) and -27 degree temperatures. With all that, my owner thought it was best to put me to sleep for the winter. So last night, he removed my battery, covered me up, and wished me a good rest until, well, whenever. Senor Coche will no doubt a...

Adventures with Lola: Sunday Slaloms
http://adventureswithlola.blogspot.com/2010/09/sunday-slaloms.html
Monday, September 13, 2010. You may remember last year that my owner took me to my first autocross in Ottawa. We didn't do too well, but we had fun and my owner promised me we would do it again. So this past Sunday, we joined up with the Calgary Sports Car Club. For an autocross at the Deerfoot Mall parking lot in NE Calgary! Out of all the rookies, we finished fourth, following a Subaru Impreza WRX, a Porsche 911, and a Nissan 350Z! PS - Thanks to Shawn Bishop of Rallysport.ca. Great to hear you two are...

Adventures with Lola: October 2009
http://adventureswithlola.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 18, 2009. A fast introduction to the CRMC. Finally, the day arrived for me to join the Canadian Rockies Miata Club! Finally they came out, and away we drove for a quick tour. And I mean quick! My UMN days were spent at or below the speed limit, and this was a real change! If all of our tours are like this, I'd better work out a bit, as I'll need all the strength and end. Urance I can muster! Until then, rest assured it's great to be here in Calgary with my new friends from the CRMC!

Adventures with Lola: November 2009
http://adventureswithlola.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 14, 2009. Well, I'm now a real Albertan! After living here for the past two months, I finally got my Alberta registration and license plates. I'm now ZMT 002. I'm a little upset that Senor Coche got ZMT 001, but like he says, when you're number two, you try harder. My o. Wners know who is number one, though. Thursday, November 12, 2009. An active late season. My owners have been taking me out for short drives whenever possible. Sometimes the weather really cooperates (like yesterda...
