This is a new area of my website that I am putting together that is dedicated to the Aurora Prehistoric Scenes model kits from the early 70's. There were a number of kits re-issued from this series and many that were never re-issued. I have managed to obtain the re-issues of the dinosaurs that Monogram and Revell came out with in the 80's and 90's and a few of the original Aurora kits of the 70's from this series. ED ANIMALS by Revell. Back in the early 70's there was an effort to make people more aware of the ever-growing number of animals on the endangered species list. Revell created an exciting series of kits in 1974 that helped to bring awareness to this cause. A portion of the profits from these kits would go to the World Wildlife Fund. In the word EN. In bold red color to excite the buyer. Here is a copy of the original ad that advertised the series. Not pictured is the 1974 Polar Bear.

Bob's Make It and Take It 2002. We started off the program by showing a short 15 minute video of Basic Modeling A Beginner's Guide To Building and Painting Great Looking Scale Model Kits by Video Workbench. I had decided that because of the age group and gender differences, I needed to find kits that would work. Polar Lights had the perfect kit! It was a snap together kit that would appeal to all ages and genders as well. This kit was called The Jetsons. Here are a few shots of the kids during the event.
