Saturday, May 4, 2013. This year was Lane's golden birthday! He turned 27 on the 27th! He made me promise not to get him anything, so I spent a lot of time trying to figure out what I could do. One thing Lane loves is cinnamon rolls. In case you don't know me, I don't bake. Or cook. Or generally do anything in the kitchen. I have tried to make him cinnamon rolls twice in our marriage and both times were a complete disaster! Hopefully Merrilee will let me come back and learn how to make more yummy things!

Sunday, April 29, 2012. This week was a party for the Judy family! Lane and I had lots of fun being with family and celebrating Lane's birthday and his parents 50th wedding anniversary. Its always exciting when we get to be with Lane's 13 brothers and sisters! Friday was Lane's 26th birthday! We both realized that we could not remember his birthday last year- something that I am extremely ashamed of! I wanted to make sure that he remembered it this year and hopefully I did well! Tuesday, July 2, 2013. Its become a tradition to go up to Strawberry and stay at least a few days at Papi's (Phil's Dad's) cabin. It has been fun because every time we go it is different. Our family just changes so fast that no visit is ever exactly the same. The next morning we got up, got ready and started our first adventure of the vacation and went to hike West Clear Creek. Sunday, March 31, 2013. We had a wonderful Easter weekend! Saturday our nephew Alex was baptized. I cannot think of a better way to celebrate our Savior than to watch someone so special make such a great choice. I cannot believe that Alex was only 3 the day I met him! I'm so happy we get to have him as an example. After the baptism, we enjoyed a BBQ at the Taylor's. Easter egg hunting, food, and potato guns filled with candy- what more could you ask for? I am sure Tyler will be back soon for a rematch!

Saturday, June 2, 2012. I have a little fish on my hands. He LOVES LOVES the water. He just cannot get enough of it! For Memorial Day, we were able to play in the pool all day. Bennett loved it! Friday, August 3, 2012. Making Our House A Home. I talked in older posts about my wonderful hubby working tirelessly on projects around our house. We have been dying to do things around our house since we moved in, but we have been so busy with work and school that we didn't have a chance. Once Phil got done with school for the summer, he just dove right into the "honey-do" list. I love my hubby. :). I love it and I already use it more than the rest of our kitchen! Family room before the office project.

Saturday, September 14, 2013. Summer is always fun with Lane. There is lots of family, reunions, and camping. I love that I married a man who loves to be with his family. Luckily he seems to like mine too! This year we were in charge of the Doug and Terry Judy reunion. They say they assigned partners by matching siblings with the same first letter in their name, but really I think they all knew I would need lots of help! LaDawn was our partner and she rocked everything! Dodge ball with nieces and nephews!
