After muuch sanding and many coats of polyurethane. The granite countertops are installed. Finishing up laying down the bamboo flooring. The easy part of laying the travertine in the shower. Bought 200 tiles and ended up with 6 leftover. Ipe deck with stainless steel railing. Westfield and Jag finally back home. About 6 full days of laying tile. Bathroom getting close to being done. Still lacking a mirror and glass shower door. Great room/kitchen from stairs. Lacking door pulls, but a useable kitchen.

Loewen windows from Canada arrive. Seared tuna on the camp stove. Architecturally interesting staircase with lots of angles. Bathroom with nooks for the toilet and 2 built-in cabinets. Great room looking from kitchen. Furring needed to make100 yr old walls plumb. Coax, s-video, component video, telephone, and 5.1 speaker wire. Big day. Utility room finally poured, as well as outside stairs to deck. It got really quiet after the insuation was installed. Shower stall with seat and multiple outlets.

Adding doublers to the joists and rafters. Usually working 1 day a weekend it took over a year. Creative framing trying to square a 100 year old house. I can see for miles. Always wear your safety glasses. Velux makes a nice bit of kit! Insulating, framing, and electrical. The new American Gothic. Are we done yet? Emma loves to bark out the front window. Note the fold out ironing board. The carpet was the only thing we didn't do. The million dollar view.

fedexboblog: Our yard in a magazine...kind of
http://fedexboblog.blogspot.com/2013/12/our-yard-in-magazine.html
Sunday, December 29, 2013. Our yard in a magazine.kind of. Our landscape designer, Beth Mullins, pulled a few strings and got our yard into Gardenista. Although the pictures are a couple years old, it's still pretty true to the original plan. The plants are much bigger, of course, and we have removed and replaced a couple that just weren't working out. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Our yard in a magazine.kind of. Sunday, January 8, 2012. The Galloping Ghost crash. I've collected some of the better videos, as well as some shots of the beautiful rebuild of this amazing aircraft. We were all pulling for Jimmy this year, and it was looking great until IT HAPPENED. Article about Jimmy, and the Ghost. Photos of the rebuild. S fine video of the last race, including the dramatic over-bank, and pitch-up. Was shot very close. To where we were. A nicely edited YouTube. Not real sure how this person. Monday, June 30, 2008. Apnea, CPAP, and the TSA. About 3.or maybe it was 4 years ago, after being kicked, shoved, and told to BREATHE. Humidifier, K&N pollen filter, blah, blah, blah. Actually a Respironics Remstar. Puritan Bennett Breeze with nasal pillows. Anyway, traveling with a CPAP machine can be helpful, as it is not. Considered to be one of your 2 carry-ons. There is enough extra room in the CPAP bag for a couple cameras, maybe a bottle of water, or two. The new Solar PV System.

I regularly proofed it before he posted it, and reminded him of things he left out. (I also chided him for being a little to wordy, but think everyone else enjoyed it). Sunday, November 22, 2009.
