Walt and Kathie's Empty Nest. Friday, October 30, 2009. Skype is no hype! This is an actual picture of Walt and I talking to Melissa and Hannah over the computer. Having this "skype" program to see them - has been the best thing ever! When we talked with Meliss and Hannah - we got to see how good Hannah was at walking with her stroller. Hannah was pushing this cute little toy stroller around with Elmo in the seat. She kept looking back at us on the computer making sure we were watching her!

Well, It's been ages- but Walt and I are kindof digging out of our boxes. 19 years in Bountiful and we didn't every throw anything away! It's been fun looking thru Bob and Melissa's old toys and school papers. Creepy Crawlers, Simpson toys, Stuffed animals coming out of our ears. And I can't for all the Barbie dolls, and doll houses. Living out here in Lake Shore is a blast! Linda was a big help putting my kit...

Walt and Kathie's Empty Nest. Sunday, August 23, 2009. Linda and I decided to take a long "girls only" weekend and drive to California. We had a blast! We split the driving up and drove straight thru going and coming back. We stayed in. Cloverdale at Dad's/Grandpa's house (Boy was Grandpa happy to have us visit). We crammed alot into our three days there. Here's some of the stuff we did. Once at Grandpa's house, we spent a couple of days touring around San Francisco. The huge seals at Pier 39.

I could end right now and you would all know the fun time I had in Indianapolis! But, wait, I'm getting ahead of myself. We both flew in on Halloween and met at the airport. Walt and Kathie's Empty Nest. Friday, October 30, 2009. Dad and me in front of his house as we are leaving to go. I never tire of seeing the Golden Gate Bridge or the view as we drive into the city. Gorgeous! And that bay breeze and ocean smell - Wonderful! Walt earned his "best son-in-law" award by wheeling Dad all over the place for the day. Is it me - or does Walt look like he's ready to LET GO of the wheel chair. ;). The DeYoung Museum. Just the building, itself, is spectacular. The Love of our Life.
