What I've thought about along the way. Tuesday, February 24, 2015. Tuesday February 24, 2015.Wheezing and Sputtering? You know how an old car sputters and backfires? Sometimes the radiator lets off steam and sometimes oil leaks from the engine. The fuel pump gets clogged and the carburetor wheezes. The body gets scratched and dented. The shocks and struts don’t cushion like they used to. You keep putting fuel in the tank, but you don’t get the mileage or the performance that you used to get.

He was a classmate of mine and he remains in my memory as the young athlete/scholar that we was. Several of my classmates have passed on in the last few years and they still remain vivid memories in my mind. A portion of who that person was live on in my memory. I was there nearly 25 years ago when in college for a biology field trip. Yikes - am I that old already! And it is still a joy to visit. The people are friendly. The MARTA is clean and easy to use. The whole place is so very green and humid. Not swimming in air humid, but moist (to a desert dweller). And did I mention GREEN. And I had no energy.
