It was a nice day before the heat sets in so we took a drive to Sumter to walk around the Swan Lake park. It was a pleasant stroll of about two miles on both sides of the park. There were just a few turtles at the feeding trough. A beautiful piece of art. The iris is starting to bloom. The boardwalk in the cypress swamp. Cypress trees and Spanish moss. One way we hope to keep friends and family informed about out lives. Sunday, January 1, 2017. New Year's Eve Baptism. To top off the Christmas week we had a baptism on New Year's Eve! Nadine and Mairead (Mazie) were both baptised at St. Mary Magdelan Catholic Church in Brighton. All the Redmond girls and families were here to attend the event as well as the Houghten family. It was a pretty nice way to end the year! A few pictures follow. Mike's brothers Chris and Jeff were God fathers.
