Bob's Studio - Home of the Buffalo Where Chips Fly. Wood and Stone Carvings. There was an error in this gadget. Saturday, May 28, 2005. Buffalo Calf; This is my first stone carving. I had a piece of stone and came across a picture of a buffalo calf that I thought would work good. It was kind of hard to do because I only had a side view and had to make up a top view. It was very interesting to do and was alot faster than the time it takes to carve in wood. This one is soooo awesome! It is totally cute!
