First wine pick for 2010. This week's wine pick is a 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon from Geyser Peak Winery in Alexander Valley, California. For my pallet this wine tasted higher than an 87 point cab. It would not hurt to decant it and consume with your favorite dish. This wine is a very good value! First wine pick for 2010.

Sunday, 16 January 2011. High Winds But More Failures. Despite the ongoing problems though, it was good to see the turbine operating at high speed. With spot generation rates of 75 kW, that’s more than 1 kWh per minute. It does show what the machine is capable of when the wind is really blowing. I’ll just have to pray for more wind that’s all!
