Walking to school. The school is at the end of our street(and across), yes, just 7 houses down! I still walk the boys, because Sammy is only 5 and I pick him up from Kindergarten, but Dallin walks home. I just step out and watch for him- so nice! I think having his Superman shirt helps :). Things that make me Happy. Sunday, April 5, 2009. There are LOTS of free roaming peacocks and peahens at the zoo. The kids liked this one the best because he happened to be behind. A fence and wasn't "trying to get me" as Kaylie says. The fish and even the snakes(yuck! Were fascinating to our girl. A new friend we met at the zoo. Sammy couldn't wait to see the elephants. We ended the day with a treat. Nathan likes ice cream. . No wonder he won't eat the green beans- thanks Daddy! She was so excited!

We spent a fun day together as a family. Dallin got to choose what to do. We woke up to 6 inches of snow on the ground! I wonder what this winter will bring! The boys soccer games were cancelled due to the snow. This was actually nice because we got to spend more of the day. He didn't mind the extra toy. The next day was.

http://richardandcherylewhitaker.blogspot.com/2010/07/friends-and-missionaries-in-lima.html
Saturday, July 3, 2010. Friends and Missionaries in Lima. Laugh all the time. Here is a good example. In our chapel, we have a digital piano, organ combo. So, if there is no one who can play, we have the hymns already recorded in the organ. One Sunday we entered the chapel and he was sitting at the organ, it was playing softly. I walked over to take a picture and said, "I did not know that you played the organ" and this is what he did. He said " I don't. We had a very special devotional this last week.

Friday, March 27, 2009. Snow Forts and Snow Angels. So, the storm blew its way through by this morning leaving drifts as high as 2 feet around our fence in the backyard.
