2010 Bodega Chacra Barda is Pinot Noir | Bacchism

2010 Bodega Chacra Barda is Pinot Noir. December 4, 2011. A rather peculiar statement made by an MW has always stuck with me. He asserted that Pinot Noir was mostly a wine to smell but that there were certainly exceptions that would make the previous assertion seem ludicrous. One might say the same of Nebbiolo, no? This would go for about $30 retail. Is that a good deal? In the realm of Pinot Noir? Perhaps the greatest value in red wine I have ever encountered) but they are not Pinot. What is that smell?

The Chukker: Les surprises du Chef

Tuesday, March 6, 2012. Les surprises du Chef. San Telmo is one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Buenos Aires. It is where ancient buildings still stand today, after a few centuries of pollution and neglect. It became somehow a trendy place to buy an apartment, or open a store, a while ago but obviously it is not a location as commercial or high end as Palermo Soho or Recoleta. yet. Property value went up, some cleaning (and also restoration. Opened some time ago thanks to the genius of famous chef Pablo ...

The Chukker: Patagonia, land of dreams
http://thechukker.blogspot.com/2009/09/patagonia-land-of-dreams.html
Sunday, December 11, 2011. Patagonia, land of dreams. Everything started with a glass of red wine. Piero Incisa della Rocchetta (of the italian family behind Sassicaia. The great Super Tuscan wine) tasted in New York a fantastic Pinot Noir from a vineyard in Patagonia and he fell in love. It was a bottle of Humberto Canale by the danish winemaker Hans Vinding-Diers. Amazed by the quality of wines Hans was being able to make, he decided to start his own winery. Three of the most extraordinary and unique w...

Sommelier María Inés Amato. Visita a la Bodega Domingo Molina. Cafayate. Salta. 6 Marzo, 2017. 4 “...
