Everytime we would got to the mall and pass the Claires store she would shout, "can I get my ears pierced today! I didn't come prepared with my camera so we used the cellphone and took after pics. Monday, November 10, 2008. Where have we been? It is boutique time so I have been neglecting. My blog, and neglecting reading all of your blogs! Every year I tell myself (and Ryan) that I am not going to do any boutiques, and every year I end up doing what feels like a hundred. But I can't complain because it is my own fault. Thursday, December 18, 2008. The True Meaning of Christmas. Why do we celebrate Christmas? Every year for Christmas the neighbors directly across the street go all out with decorating their house. This picture does not do it justice. The entire house is decked out with tons of lights and about 20 huge blowup things, with three of them on the roof. So when we go out the front door every night this is what we see. The kids do love it! It is big, compare it to the roof,. They are all life size manequins).

Monday, May 18, 2009. For those of you that may not know, Ryan has been taking Distance Education classes (online classes) through Iowa State University. Since Fall 2004. He always took the summer off so as not to get too burned out. And now, finally, he is done. He received his master's degree in information assurance. His classes were taught by a wide range of teachers including the stuttering Chinese man,. And the nice lady with a lisp. We enjoyed the ISU campus and the scenery. That will be the day.

Tuesday, May 27, 2008. The BIG BOY bed. Now Dallan is in the "Big Boy" bed, with the binki (I decided I need to pick my battles and this is one I don't really want to take on right now)! To make a long story short, nap times are becoming increasingly short, making mom increasingly more short and it is now 9:00pm and they are both still talking to each other in their room.
