TheAndie: July 2012
http://andreapoling.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Living Large in Asia, Literally and Figuratively. Friday, July 6, 2012. In May (sorry it's a few months late! I completed the 2012 Great Wall Marathon in the blazing speed time of 7 hours, 3 minutes and 29 seconds. I ran with Beth, a good friend from Dhaka, who finished and said 'we just ran a working day.' So true. Beth was actually the motivator in convincing me to run this race. That story goes like this . . . Of course we took an "Ohio" photo. Inspection Day. When it started to get real. I blame the ...

Living Large in Asia, Literally and Figuratively. Thursday, April 26, 2012. Or in Bengali, Happy New Year! You may be noticing that I cut my hair. New year, new do! In all honesty I cut it because it's been falling out. Not just shedding in the shower but really noticeably thinning, yikes! 1 Use high quality shampoo and conditioner (unavailable in Dhaka so luckily I ordered some online and my co-worker brought it out the following week). 2 Only wash hair twice per week. Grease ball central here I come.

Yup, the below highly resembles the link so feel free to skip to the final paragraph and I won't be offended. A common question when training was 'so what are your goals for the race? Should I fall back? I could do this. Then it came, just at mile 21. The hilliest of...

TheAndie: 525,600 Minutes
http://andreapoling.blogspot.com/2012/10/525600-minutes_24.html
Living Large in Asia, Literally and Figuratively. Wednesday, October 24, 2012. Five hundred, twenty-five thousand, six hundred minutes. Five hundred, twenty-five thousand, moments so dear. Five hundred, twenty-five thousand, six hundred minutes. How do you measure, measure a year? In midnights, in cups of coffee? In laughter in strife? In, five-hundred, twenty-five thousand, six hundred minutes. How do you measure, a year in the life? So how have I measured the last year? How about, love? How about, love?

TheAndie: October 2012
http://andreapoling.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Living Large in Asia, Literally and Figuratively. Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Tis a Good Day in Dhaka. The weather finally broke! In other good-days-in-Dhaka happenings, Eid ul Azha - the festival of sacrifice - was celebrated last weekend. Prior to the festival, the roads fill with cows and goats. Cows lined up for Eid outside my apartment. With more livestock on the street it did smell more barnyard-esque. I, however, was reminded of home. Wednesday, October 24, 2012. In midnights, in cups of coffee?

TheAndie: February 2012
http://andreapoling.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Living Large in Asia, Literally and Figuratively. Thursday, February 16, 2012. Earlier this week, everyone came to the office dressed in yellow and red to celebrate the first day of Spring. I believe it was February 13th and was blindsided by the event. "Andie you are not dressed to celebrate Spring? So what are these 6 seasons? So that I may know. Why the green Earth. Looked up at the sky. And call me to her lap. I may end my song at its peak. Have the fortune of filling my container. Spring is the last...
