A blog for my short and long-term memory loss. Friday, May 10, 2013. We just wrapped up Birthday Season around here. Layla is 7, Anna Lea is 5, and Wyatt is 4! I really didn't think we would ever get to this stage, but suddenly here we are. I decided not to do individual friend parties this year, and instead do a family membership to the Tennessee Aquarium. Anna Lea's birthday at Pre-school. We brought ice cream cones for everyone:). We celebrated as a family that evening with cupcakes, and presents.

A blog for my short and long-term memory loss. Friday, May 18, 2012. Layla enjoyed her special day with green cupcakes to share with her friends at school, a birthday crown, and several presents. She had been wanting a pillow pet. She got a big girl purse that she has been using as her backpack for the last few weeks of school, a wallet to go in her purse, and some new clothes from Marmee and Pop! Oh, and a few more cupcakes to share with the fam. She is a Funny girl. Wyatt blowing out his three candles.

A blog for my short and long-term memory loss. Tuesday, August 6, 2013. In between the rain this summer we have had lots of fun-filled days. Don't worry this is the "art room" where you are allowed to write on the walls:). Grandma was able to visit us as well. We also found the Calhoun Library and enjoyed their summer reading program. The kids did crafts, had snacks, and listened to stories. Wyatt making a snake out of an old tie. Anna Lea showing her snake "fangs" (Bugles). We found some blackberries.

A blog for my short and long-term memory loss. Monday, July 2, 2012. Is your God getting bigger or smaller? I love that my God does not fit nicely into a box. I also love that he continues to get bigger the more I see and know Him. Isaiah 55:9 (NIV) “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. What about your God? Does he continue to get bigger the longer you know him, or is he starting to fit into a "nice, little box"?

I took my camera on our trip to Clarksville, to spend time with all my family for Thanksgiving, but of course, I didn't take any pictures, except for right before we left.
