Baltic Olympiad in Informatics. The Baltic Olympiad in Informatics (BOI) is a programming contest for secondary school students. It started in 1995 with only 3 participating countries and grew substantially over the years. Now BOI encompasses about 60 participants from 9 countries situated around the Baltic Sea. Each country is invited to send up to 6 participants to the Olympiad, and the host country usually sends two teams. BOI follows the competition format of the International Olympiad in Informatics.

Uge 7, 8 eller 9. Individuel løsning af tilsendte opgaver. 16-18 marts 2012 Herlufsholm. Den 24. internationale datalogi-OL afholdes i september 2012 i Italien. Afholdes den træningslejr som danner grundlag for udtagelsen af det olympiske hold. Konkurrencen er åben for alle elever i de gymnasiale uddannelser, som er født efter 30.06.1991. Resultater fra NIO-finalen 2015/2016. 25 deltagere var med i årets finale som ble holdt ved Universitetet i Bergen.
