Mr. & Mrs. B.: The married life...: July 2011

Rock County Fair.Phil Vassar! Those of you who know me well know I do not much care for country music. There was a point back in the day when I may or may not have bought the Dixie Chicks Fly. Album, but that is only because of "Goodbye Earl." In fact, I have proudly considered myself anti-country music for quite some time. there is just something in the twangy, complaining, gun-toting, ultra-harmonized music that I consider uncouth. I had so much fun! When the concert began I found myself appreciating t...

Mr. & Mrs. B.: The married life...: November 2011
http://mrmrsbthemarriedlife.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Hands down one of our most favorite places to dine in the entire world is Der Rathskeller. Paul took me there on our first date and it is also where he proposed! Our first date was a lovely evening in May (May 6, 2009). We sat outside in the newly open biergarten and split the Butterfly Ribs. When he proposed, also in the biergarten, it was a frigid night in November.the 26 to be exact (as I like to put it our year-and-a-half-and-twenty-day anniversary! Paul and I would highly recommend the Ruben Roles.

Mr. & Mrs. B.: The married life...: February 2012
http://mrmrsbthemarriedlife.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Last week we had a snow that I wasn't expecting. We have been really spoiled this year with a mild winter and though I like the look of freshly fallen snow, I have been enjoying the warmth and lack of shoveling. Most the snow is gone now. Only a few days can make all the difference. It sure was pretty while it lasted! Posted by Mrs. B. Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Friday was Grandma Kapfer's birthday! We celebrated by going to the Gun Club for dinner. Posted by Mrs. B. Tuesday, February 28, 2012. Paul l...

Mr. & Mrs. B.: The married life...: January 2012

Paul and I have been house-sitting dad and momma B's house lately. Rachel has been house-sitting our house. all kinds of house swapping going on! Along with the house, of course, comes Brady. Now I have never had a pet dog or really any pet for that matter. Brady has me under his paw. He always tricks me into giving him treats. He pretends he needs to go outside and then insists I give him a treat when he comes back in! It is funny to me that he always wants whatever I am eating. Even vegetables! I chang...

Mr. & Mrs. B.: The married life...: Milwaukee
http://mrmrsbthemarriedlife.blogspot.com/2011/07/milwaukee.html
A few weekends ago Paul and I headed up to Milwaukee to visit our good friends, and my cousin and cousin-in-law, James and Abby Carlson. Paul and I have decided that Milwaukee is one of our favorite places to visit! The next day we enjoyed a tour of the Miller Brewery, where we were able to send out a plethora of postcards, for free, to our friends and family. Something you should know about me. I LOVE. Postcards: getting them, giving them, buying them, sending them! We had so so soooooo much fun with Ab...

Mr. & Mrs. B.: The married life...: Safe House
http://mrmrsbthemarriedlife.blogspot.com/2012/03/safe-house.html
On Sunday, we headed up to Milwaukee to visit Abby and James, and to show Emma the city. No first time visit would be complete without a trip to the Safe House! The Safe House is an espionage themed restaurant and bar, complete with a secret password, a few secret passages, and all kinds of other cool spy stuff! Bless Abby and James' hearts for going there with us. it was probably the 100th time they have been there since everyone who visits them wants to go. such good sports! Posted by Mrs. B.

Mr. & Mrs. B.: The married life...: June 2012
http://mrmrsbthemarriedlife.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Here we are. after an almost two and a half month hiatus! Life has been fun, hectic, crazy, and rewarding as of late. Emma ended up staying with us for six weeks, and between her visit, transitioning into a new position at work, and all the beautiful weather (and yard work), Mr. B. and I have hardly had a second to ourselves! Besides all of that, we have seven weddings coming up! Paul and I spent a lot of time in the fall planting flower bulbs. It was well worth the effort! Posted by Mrs. B.

Second Annual Pumpkin Carving Party. Aunt Kelly and Uncle Tom. Isn't our pumpkin amazing? Annah and Dad B. Some of the finished jack-o-lanterns! On Saturday night, Paul and I enjoyed game night and delicious turkey chili with MAC and Nik! They beat us two out of three times when we played bezzerwizzer! I am usually quite confident in my ability to dominate this game. So needless to say I was a little humbled! Posted by Mrs. B. Tuesday, October 25, 2011. This past weekend was very blustery! If I had a lit...
