Thursday, December 24, 2009. 平安夜，那首silent night的歌一直在心中回响。四周静悄悄的，霓虹灯闪烁着，在黑夜里照亮圣诞老人的路，小朋友已经在甜蜜的梦乡了，google 的NORAD在全球追踪圣诞老人的行踪，据说，那个全世界小朋友最喜欢的老人已经造访完美国，到加拿大去了。身为圣诞老公公的精灵之一的我，任务终于完成了，终于可以坐下来，写点什么：). 在过去的一个月里，大家在调频94.5MHz的电台里，谈论家里圣诞节的传统节目。圣诞节，已不是严格意义上的宗教的节日了，而成为大家互送东西，表达爱意，亲戚朋友家人们相聚，一起欢度的节日了。我们这个家，也貌似有了自己的传统节目了 - - 那就是大家一起来读圣诞老公公给小朋友写的信！大家都知道圣诞老人太忙了，这些信当然就是他的那群可爱的小精灵帮着写的了，但由于要写得信太多了，忙乱中难免有差错。我们都会原谅她的 :-). Monday, June 28, 2010. 我是个不善于提前做计划的人，很少主动计划一年半载之后的活动，但这毛病在美国就有点吃亏了，等我想起来要去哪儿玩的时候，好的deal早就没有了！就说Camping吧，好地方，总是刚开放预定就一抢而空了，哪轮到我这样懒惰加不上心的人预定上？要不人说懒人有懒福，千万人中，就让我碰见了那么几个勤快又有计划的朋友，总能定上好的Camping site, 而且，更重要的是，还带上我们玩……这不，我们又搭上了一次便车，到Big Sur去野营了一把，吃得开心，玩得尽兴，小朋友们更是不知疲倦地玩着，在沙滩上，在小溪里，在林荫道上，在浓密的大树下都留下了我们快乐的身影……. 所谓有图有真相：）还是看图说话吧- -. 看！ 吸在岩石上的海星，还有脚下的海瓜子（淡菜？）！ 碰见一个挖沙的人，他在挖什么？原来是这沙子里有很多像蚯蚓一样的东西，只是更大，更长，更让人起一身的鸡皮疙瘩。等下午海潮漫上来，大鱼小鱼冲到岸边，用这些小虫子当诱饵就能钓上sea bass之类的鱼来. 到处溜达，溜达。看，好大的树，它有几岁了呢？ Tuesday, June 22, 2010. 不知道为什么ʌ...

Monday, July 19, 2010. 打瞌睡的牙仙在匆忙间交出了钱，却没有提货。这可急坏了送货的善良小姑娘，不愿意落个不讲信用的骂名，于是不折不挠地要将货送出去……. 牙仙终于在第二天晚上取走了牙和信。看似大方，实则斤斤计较的牙仙不愿再破费了，却又想留下一点她来过的痕迹。突然灵光一动，给这个小姑娘回封信吧！ Dear Tooth Fairy，. Monday, December 5, 2011. 葡萄买回家后，不要把藤拿掉，直接把它浸在水里，放一点点盐，浸3分钟左右。这是起到杀菌，防霉的功效。然后用水冲洗干净。在把葡萄放在淘箩上沥干，要没有一点水分，否则在酿的过程中会发霉的。然后把葡萄一个个剥下来，用搅拌机打碎。10斤葡萄放1斤糖（冰糖也可以）。把打碎的葡萄灌入大的瓶子里，留一段空隙，因为葡萄在酿制时会彭涨的。最后把瓶盖紧。放置一个半月左右后就成葡萄酒了。然后用纱布沥出葡萄酒，去掉渣皮。自制的葡萄酒香醇可口。 Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The other day, she was eating her cheerios and Daddy asked her to feed him some cheerios with his mouth wide open. Smartie Ashley ran over with her fist full of cheerios, pretended to put some cheerios in Daddy's mouth, then pulled back her hand, and started laughing out loud! Hahaha, she was teasing Daddy! Where did she get that from?

Life is the journey, not the destination. Tuesday, March 23, 2010. As Ashley's vocabulary increases, her all time favorite word is "Bu Yao" (No in Chinese). Everything you asks of her, her first response is "Bu Yao". One night, Ashley woke up and vomited, and after clean up. Mommy tried hard to put her back to sleep. Ashley, do you want to go to sleep? Well, do you want to eat some rice then? How about some milk". Ooooh, nai nai." Ashley pointed to the bottle warmer, but without a definite answer.

For a longest time, Ashley had been cruising around holding onto furniture and was able to walk for a couple of steps without any support. But the magic moment of the walking never came. Tuesday, October 20, 2009. 演出 / 生病 / 丢包. 像平常的周六一样，忙忙碌碌，这儿那儿的跑，上上课，去图书馆，踢踢球，然后匆匆忙忙的去表演的地方，今天可是妹妹的大日子 — 第一次上舞台跳舞! 迫不及待地穿上那蓬蓬的小朋友认为漂亮的，妈妈们觉得颜色怯怯的芭蕾小tutu, 再怯的颜色，有那一张张可爱的小粉脸衬着，也变得生动起来。那油光铮亮的发髻对她们没有什么吸引力，头动来动去，让本来就笨拙的妈妈更加手忙脚乱，不是这儿不平，就是那儿又冒出一块，小朋友还很不耐烦地抱怨，怎么这么久啊？可当开始化妆的时候，配合地好得不得了，叫不动就不动，艳羡已久的亮亮的口红终于涂在了嘴上，她们心潮澎湃，美美地在镜子前照来照去，噘着小嘴，生怕将口红弄没了！ 她们的节目是下半场的第一个，7：00pm 演出开始，下半场，怎么也得8：00pm以后去了吧？可是生生的让大家5：00pm就到后台了！等待，无尽的等待，等待着那鲜亮的上台的一刹那！无所事事的孩子们就...然后赶紧回家，吃退烧药，休息……. 华丽的服饰，优美的音乐，舒展的身姿，愉悦的表情，让欣赏的...然后，又去能想到的地方找那个包...
