Been trying out some B&W film with the Pentax MX and 50mm f/1.7 lens. Up till now just been using Fuji Superia 200 film mainly as it’s cheap, but thought I’d try out a roll of Fuji Neopan 400 for a change. I made the mistake of forgetting to change the ISO dial from 200 to 400 but luckily none of the shots shown here were affected and I soon remembered the ISO needed changing. July 8, 2012. I have been using Hamrick Vuescan. To scan my negatives for quite a few months now and have seen quite a variety of workflow suggestions so here is my workflow version which seems to work quite well. I prefer to use “scan from preview” as this basically allows me to scan the whole transparency area, which is 2 rows of 6 frames for the scanner I use (Epson 4490).
