I've heard pastors and other leaders say that America is full of people who've been Christians for years, but are still infants in their Biblical knowledge and relationship with God. How can this be? Lately I've been thinking a lot about the lack of purposeful discipleship in the Church. Monday, March 30, 2015. Jesus' Command #16 - Do Not Cast Pearls. In Matthew 7:6 Jesus gives a one line instruction, seemingly unrelated to the previous or following sentences. He says, "Do not throw your pearls to pigs." The whole verse reads like this, "Do not give to dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs.
