Sunday, January 23, 2011. We had her put cashews ( we didn't have peanuts ) into the food processor and chopped them up. She would eat the whole can of cashews if we let her - she wouldn't touch them chopped up. She tried a small amount, but would not have it on bread or crackers. Bill thought maybe if we chopped up a Kit Kat ( which is one of her favorite things ) she would eat it and then eat the cashews - wrong. She refused to eat the Kit Kat - uuuggghhh! Saturday, April 28, 2012. Old bathroom with blue and white walls and wallpaper border. Finishing touches with flowers. Still need to finish off this wall. Want to put vases over the flower stems and paint them. Also painted the kitchen wall. The black is magnetic paint. It was very think and heavy to paint and made the room very dark. Magnets worked well. Katie had fun with it. I was going to put up chalk board paint on top but we went with dry erase paint. It all looks great! All you need is time, right?

Thursday, April 28, 2011. We have been dying eggs since the beginning of the month - 3 separate. Batches. The ones above are the typical PAAS. We had a quiet Easter this year. Katie is getting much better about having her photo taken with large furry people. She is looking so big. She found the eggs in the house and her basket. She doesn't eat candy, so it was packed with toys and arts and crafts. Then out to the back for the monster eggs - she found them without any problems. Tuesday, April 12, 2011.

Saturday, June 16, 2012. Bill and I went on a 10 day cruise for our 10th anniversary. my mother was kind enough to stay at our house and watch Katie so we could go. It was an amazing trip. We left from Bayonne NJ - it was a little cool and damp but that quickly changed when we headed south. It seemed like a tight squeeze under the Verrazano Bridge. Good bye NJ.
