A little about the GyanGurus. Sunday, January 5, 2014 at 2:56 am Posted in Life. I can see stardust in the words,. Making them casualties of my imagination. The light has to be just right. A time at night,. Tilt your head just so. And the words will alight. Last night around 1 or 2, can’t remember, while reading a book of short stories. Learned about the word ‘fey’ for the first time from the book and borrowed it. Leave a Comment ». Feed for comments on this post. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

A little about the GyanGurus. Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 11:40 am Posted in Life. I want the waves to engulf me. So I am swept away. I want the wind to lift me. So I take flight. Where I can hear music. In the lulls of the sea. And the curves of the sky. Into a depth so deep. A height so high. Where I’m finally free. 12:08 am in Mumbai at the beach on Carter Road while listening to Tum Ko from Rockstar. Leave a Comment ». Feed for comments on this post. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Saturday, 27 February 2010. Hema Malini in Johnny Mera Naam (1970). Fabulous is how i would describe Hema Malini's style in this very enjoyable masala suspense 70's caper. Hema was nothing but pure gorgeousness in this film, love the shades on her. As well as the fab cocktail rings. Loved her in the red turtle neck with the multi strand necklaces. Also loved her in her tribal get up. And not forgetting my favourite the two toned black and turquoise Sari matched with turquoise accesories, 100% super wow.

Saturday, 30 July 2011. Yogeeta Bali in Ajanabee (1974). One of my favourite bollywood beauties Yogeeta Bali. Had a spectacular look I couldn't help but admire in the 1974 movie Ajanabee (Strangers). I loved everything from her trench to the high volume hair and fresh face make up. Loving that pompadour style hair and slightly vampy make up. I love the Green mac with the black/navy piped detailing running through it. And if you'd like to watch the movie, you can buy it on dvd here. Links to this post.

Tuesday, 11 October 2011. One of my favourite Sadhana fashion moments occurred in this film when she paired this amazing fairisle knit (very stylish even today) with ski pants, that jumper is to die for, i love it. See more of this outfit in the video below. Loving the studded diamanté sunglasses teamed with a cosy jumper and fur hat and gloves, Aspen chic at its best. Next up on my favourites lists is this embroidered floral sari teamed with lovely Ruby accessories. In fact the whole feel and styling of...
