Ma Vie En Rose: To study or not to study? That is the question.
http://susansvieenrose.blogspot.com/2007/11/to-study-or-not-to-study-that-is.html
Ma Vie En Rose. Thursday, November 29, 2007. To study or not to study? That is the question. I have approximately 10 minutes to decide whether or not I want to go play water polo tonight. Considering the low level of play and the fact that it is rainy and gross and cold outside, I am probably not going to go. Such is the life of a lazy bum. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). To study or not to study? That is the question. And so it continues. French women dont sweat. Hell no, we wont go!

Ma Vie En Rose: December 2007
http://susansvieenrose.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Ma Vie En Rose. Thursday, December 13, 2007. Yesterday I was, er, chided. By a girl as I was getting off the tram, because she apparently believed I was being rude and pushy while I tried to make my way out the door. I decided on some possible causes for her unusual criticism of my tram-riding skills:. 1) She has never been to France before, and therefore does not know what French people normally behave like (not possible - she was definitely French). 2) She has never been to a city before (not probable).

Ma Vie En Rose: The Unfortunate Ones
http://susansvieenrose.blogspot.com/2012/01/unfortunate-ones.html
Ma Vie En Rose. Thursday, January 19, 2012. The population in a medical school class is rather interesting to observe. You have those really annoying people who are happy and smiling and energetic all the time (like the one girl who proudly told me she never drinks caffeine. what is she, a robot? The ones who work like crazy ("gunners"), and the seemingly normal people (but trust me, we've all got weird quirks). However, the really scary truth about med students is this:. Ma Vie En Rose: Dordogne
http://susansvieenrose.blogspot.com/2007/12/dordogne.html
Ma Vie En Rose. Sunday, December 2, 2007. You know how in movies and books, the French countryside is portrayed as these idyllic little medieval towns, with farms that have fields and cows and sometimes castles? Now, of course, it is Sunday, I am back home with only pasta for food, and it looks as though we may have class tomorrow (! They should take a hint from Middlebury and spam our inboxes with occasionally useful emails. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). That last cultural barrier.

Ma Vie En Rose: The First Month of Med School
http://susansvieenrose.blogspot.com/2011/08/first-month-of-med-school.html
Ma Vie En Rose. Friday, August 26, 2011. The First Month of Med School. I realize that it has been an obscenely long time since I last posted on this blog (has it really been four years since I went to France? Not even fetuses (I at least now know the difference between the two, thanks to Dr. Pravetz, our esteemed embryology professor). The second and third years are the fetuses, the fourth years in their sub-internships are the babies, the interns are the toddlers and so forth. Or so Dr....Or is it simp...

Ma Vie En Rose: Life or Death
http://susansvieenrose.blogspot.com/2007/12/life-or-death.html
Ma Vie En Rose. Monday, December 3, 2007. Today I was riding along in the very front of the tram, minding my own business and discussing with Milo how OMGHOLYCRAP we only have two and a half weeks left here before break. Things were normal - or getting back to normal, as the case may be, since classes were supposed to be starting again after two and a half weeks of nothing. Is he dead or what? After the driver had called the secourists. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). That last cultural barrier.
