Bonne Fontaine Lakes sit amongst 200 Hectaires of beautiful ancient woodland. Originally dug by the monks from the Bonne Fontaine Abbey to breed carp, these spring fed lakes give top quality water conditions for monster carp. We have stocked the lakes with 50 fish ranging from 9kg to 21kg to compliment the current residents, the weight of which we can only wonder. We are only 2 1/2 hours from Calais making our lakes not only beautiful but easily accessible. Peace at the Lakes.

Although this is the smallest of our lakes at approximately 1½ acres in size, it is the most picturesque, quietly nestled amongst the towering birch and ash trees of the ancient woodland. Lake Honet really is a vision of peace and serenity. This lake also has the advantage of having an island, not only to add to its appearance but with the obvious benefit of the fish patrolling its perimeter.

This lake is approximately 2½ acres in size with depths from 0.6m to 2m at the dam wall. Although this lake doesn't have an island it is as beautiful as a picture postcard, it is hemmed in on three sides by towering trees of the ancient forest and on the other side there are acres of unspoilt green fields stretching as far as the eye can see. The cabin is also situated alongside lake Robert with all the usual facilityâ s including shower, toilet and kitchen.
