Saturday, August 8, 2009. If you kill a road worker in Michigan the fine is $7500 and 15 years in jail. Indiana is 10,000 and 14 years in jail. Who figures this stuff out? Our first day was 12 hours and 600 miles. Today should be a lot further. Somewhere close to Wyoming. There's a ton of bikes running in the opposite direction coming from Sturgis. Thursday, August 6, 2009. Tomorrow's the day and here's what I have to work with. I made an attempt last night to load up my bike and it looked like the Beverly Hillbilly's truck - so I now know you can't build your bags vertically on a motorcycle. Just try and get your leg over. The way I was headed, a crane to lower me on the bike would have been needed. August 6, 2009 at 12:57 PM. Haha, thats not even a lot of stuff!
