Home & Gift Roads. The one with the Sydney cooking class. March 27, 2015. I had planned another post for today, but bumped up my Sydney cooking class post because I was just that excited and happy about it! Left me feeling the exactly the opposite. Let me back up, when we initially moved to Sydney, I was walking past Williams Sonoma and spied a board advertising a gluten free. Cooking class at the end of March. Although it was a ways off, I eagerly signed up! Part of} the lovely kitchen area. The end pro...

Some Like it Hot | ↠Golden State of Mind↞

8608;Golden State of Mind↞. Monday, August 12, 2013. Some Like it Hot. Having our fill of Dinosaurs. We continued our journey to a little oasis in the desert called, Palm Springs. I've always loved trips to Palm Springs because it's like going back in time to the 50's. Upon entering the town, I couldn't help but feel nostalgic for an era of the past. It's as if I was walking into a living and breathing museum, a city frozen in an ode to it's prime. Next we zipped over to the Palm Springs Air Museum.

http://permeatingpurpose.blogspot.com/2013/08/monkeying-around-in-gibraltar-travel.html
Tuesday, August 6, 2013. Monkeying Around in Gibraltar {Travel Tuesday}. We left early on a Saturday morning and the day was perfect. I adore blue skies with fluffy clouds and, that day, the sky did not disappoint. Our bus took us to the coast to an impressive view of the Mediterranean Sea, the Straight of Gibraltar, the Atlantic Ocean, Africa, and Spain. You can write about one of your favorite travel adventures too. Just link up with Travel Tuesday. On A Compass Rose. Or Found Love. Now What? Monkeying...

Permeating Purpose: Sangria in Sevilla {Travel Tuesday}
http://permeatingpurpose.blogspot.com/2013/08/sangria-in-sevilla-travel-tuesday.html
Tuesday, August 13, 2013. Sangria in Sevilla {Travel Tuesday}. The four of us would meet up in central Sevilla to hang out and enjoy local culture. We found out very quickly how tourist it was to drink Sangria. It was not something the locals drank. They prefer Cruzcampo. Beer- or a glass of red wine from the Andalusian region. Or, young people, they drink what is called, tinto de verano. It is red wine with Fanta. After finding out how touristy sangria was, I casually switched to tinto. Its easy to make...

What I Ate in Florence, Italy | Journey & Camera
http://www.melaniefontaine.com/2015/08/what-to-eat-in-florence-italy.html
Stories of life and wanderlust. Friday, August 7, 2015. What I Ate in Florence, Italy. I am not going to lie: One of the main reasons I was excited to travel to Florence this June was the food. I can’t imagine living a life where bread and pasta aren’t regular occurrences and would probably rather go vegan than give up carbs, even if that means that I will never be a perfect Size Zero, and as such Italy is obviously my own personal food paradise. Via Maggio 46R, 50125 Florence. Gusta has become a bit of ...

http://lewpartyof2.blogspot.com/2015/06/the-silence-is-brokena-barcelona.html
Tuesday, June 30, 2015. The Silence is Broken.A Barcelona Adventure! The silence has ended! Man, it has been almost two (? Months since I have been around here, aka way. Too long. For good reason though! Our summer has been very busy, very fun and full of lots of change. A complete and total update is coming soon, since I finally (I think). Have a new rhythm down and have adjusted to this new schedule. BUT, first I want to recap our European Adventure that happened back in May! The Park is pretty and ver...

Delft Blue: The Centre of Dutch Porcelain | Journey & Camera
http://www.melaniefontaine.com/2015/06/delft-blue-centre-of-dutch-porcelain.html
Stories of life and wanderlust. Sunday, June 21, 2015. Delft Blue: The Centre of Dutch Porcelain. Unfortunately, we seemed to be visiting on the most miserable day of the year and with a sharp wind howling through the streets and the sky crowded with dark grey clouds that threatened to burst into rain any second, I found it a little hard to appreciate the charm of the city as much as I probably would have on another day. But I suppose that just means I need to visit again one day! I loved getting a glimp...
