Thursday, June 9, 2011. 2 medium onions, chopped. 2 tbsp canola oil. 1lb skinless, boneless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into 1/2 in. chunks. 4 medium carrots, sliced 1/4 in. thick. 2 stalks of celery, cut into 1/4 in. dice. 1 red pepper, cut into 1/4 in. dice. 4 cups chicken broth. 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes. 1/4 cup pearl barley. 1 small potato, cut into 1/4 in. cubes. Wednesday, June 8, 2011. 4 plum tomatoes, finely chopped. 1 white onion, finely chopped. 2-3 jalapeno peppers, seeded and finely chopped (leave seeds in for more heat). 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped. 1-2 tbsp lime juice, freshly squeezed. Mix everything in a bowl and put in fridge for a minimum of 1 hour for flavours to blend. Make sure you seed the tomatoes, you don't want to have the veins and the seeds in the pico. Thursday, June 9, 2011. Thinly slice 1/2 medium onion and scatter in the bottom of the slow cooker. Top with whole 1lb pork tenderloin. In a bowl, whisk:. 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 1/4 cup tomato paste. 1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce. 2 cloves minced garlic. 3/4 tsp. salt. 3/4 tsp. pepper. Pour over pork. June 9, 2015. June 9, 2015. The weather on my days off were rainy, thus not a lot got done in the garden. Yesterday, it rained while we were out collecting feed, then stopped again, when we got home to continue on our outside chores. The other thing that got done yesterday, was moving that pile of wood that has been out there since October. Hubby has been working it, before planting season started.
