Click on Images to Enlarge! Wednesday, February 17, 2010. Just a few things that have been given a little love over the past few weeks. In 5 years it will be a stunner! The front will change from the picture below. Cutting it back this hard was the right thing to do, infact it should have been. Done 3 years ago.instead of wasting the past 3 years on this one. Live and learn. Ponderoas pine now in a Mike Hagedorn pot. I love this tree and it can only get better. I know, bad picture quality! A rather large...

The Bonsai of Jason: September 2009
http://jasonsbonsai.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Click on Images to Enlarge! Sunday, September 6, 2009. Here is a pine that I have been working on for 3 years now. It has come a very long way in a short period of time. Many of the "Big Names" in bonsai that have seen this in person have all really loved this tree, a few even bowed, lol! Here it is in the middle of August 2009. I needle pruned the bottom 1/2 of the tree at the end of that day. Front before any work. Right Side before any work. Partially wired and I changed the front by a few degrees.

Click on Images to Enlarge! Virtual Potting of the killer RMJ. Here are some random photos of trees that I cut th. Sunday, July 13, 2008. Initially we wanted to pt a few bends into the trunk.however since we found all the deadwood we had to re-evalute the plan of attack. Here is what we came up with. Using the branch bender we would just squeeze this section together and go from there. I wanted to seperate the live vien from the deadwood all along but Rich wanted to go the safe route is possible. A few t...
