Fun Halloween (Pumpkin) Painting. My friend Toni King is our local theatre director and Director of Community Affairs and she has organized our first ever Pumpkin Festival. Little late but. PSoA "Art of the Portrait" Conference 2014. So Troy and I made the drive to DC (well, actually Reston, VA) last week for the annual Portrait Society of America. The four day conference was filled with watching living masters demonstrate that which makes. Them living masters, meeting and befriending amazing people from all over the country and world, several of whom turned out to be from the South like Troy and I, and purchasing new materials to use to create new works of art of our own.

Updates and New W.I.P. So after much fretting and cursing, my four small paintings arrived safely in Toronto this week. They got to #Hashtag Gallery. Just in the nick of time to be hung for the opening which was last night. I'm told that the turn out was great for the show, and I'm hopeful that I'll sell some (all? On a related note, I'm currently preparing for my next painting in this new Personal Saints. Series that came as an unexpected result of being asked to do the 4"x4" show. I am done with the fo...

Troy and I had a blast on our inaugural trip to the Portrait Society of America. Conference in Atlanta this weekend. We got to see some contemporary masters doing what they do best and got to meet some cool folks. In particular I was excited to watch and listen to David Kassan. Hashtag Gallery Group Show! I'm excited to announce that I was personally invited by the owners/curators of #Hashtag Gallery. In Toronto, to send some of my artwork for a small works show they are hanging in December. The show is called "The Biggest Little Show In The City.". All of the pieces have to be 4"x4" in size. St Christina of Bolsena Finished! Ok, so one last post of 2012! I started this piece a month or two ago. I can't really remember now. But in any case I finished it up finally yesterday.
