8211; breath, bandha, drishti – the rest is show-off. I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message". Bumblebee can find this guy's mouth okay - why can't she find her own mouth? October 6, 2008 at 3:18 AM. OMG yeah, the food one is hilarious! October 6, 2008 at 8:09 AM. Look how tiny her hands are compared to the man's hands. http://lookingfornirodaha.blogspot.com/2009/05/i-wish-i-was-moon.html
8211; breath, bandha, drishti – the rest is show-off. I wish i was the moon. On my way home tonight i met a little hedgehog who'd strayed from his neighborhood, probably the park a block away from where we met. i was still so amazed - never have i seen a hedgehog on a city street! Poor thing, i hope it found it's way back home again. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Looking for Nirodaha: Who would've thought?
http://lookingfornirodaha.blogspot.com/2008/10/who-wouldve-thought.html
8211; breath, bandha, drishti – the rest is show-off. I just lived through a wonderful weekend, so delightful in many ways and I also got a lot of stuff done that I've been putting off for far too long. I guess therapy is kicking in? Seriously, even if I still have a long way to go, it's really nice to see some progress, be able to feel a difference from just a couple of months ago. How wonderful it is to have a good laugh in the company of friends! This makes me so happy! October 20, 2008 at 7:00 PM.

Looking for Nirodaha: are you human?
http://lookingfornirodaha.blogspot.com/2009/05/are-you-human.html
8211; breath, bandha, drishti – the rest is show-off. This has sort of been my theme song today. i love the rhythms and the mystical tone of it, especially the last minute or so. it's been my friend in the ipod all day long. And now you're out - like a rainbow trout! Spring in NYC is lovely. funny that we are both writing again, although I just wrote a little. Perhaps later I shall write more. I know about the crazy schedule - it's hectic, isn't it? May 5, 2009 at 12:15 AM. This is what you get.

Yoga-ish: March 2010
http://justtherightamountofkate.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Lots going on the past 2 weeks - trip home to see my folks and a baby shower, then a wedding in South Carolina last weekend. Busy! But no, it was just a basic human reaction - when you catch eyes with someone you smile! And get off on the right foot! Had a nice basic half primary tonight, J was putting on a community class at lulu and several peeps from the studio were there to support her! Monday, March 15, 2010. Bake Me a Bread Coffin. I've gained about 5 pounds purely from l...

Yoga-ish: Flippy exit
http://justtherightamountofkate.blogspot.com/2010/04/flippy-exit.html
Saturday, April 3, 2010. A few weeks ago, I had an introduction to the flippy headstand exit at another shala - lowering legs pike-style, then flipping yourself to chaturanga. Haven't been back there enough to practice it substantially and we don't do these exits in my usual studio. So this week J showed me a similar headstand exit, which is more of a "timber" type move (no pike - body straight) and I found it much easier and really fun actually. I was playing around with Urdhva Kukku A a bit (yes I'm a ...

Yoga-ish: December 2009
http://justtherightamountofkate.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 30, 2009. LOL, my overexuberant usage was too much for it.it threw sparks, the motor quit and we had to take it back. Right in the middle of making pizza dough, damn! We're still here." kind of way. Another comment on Maehle - "excess adipose tissue", lol. A few others have mentioned this and I think it is pretty funny.he says it several times! I don't have the resolve to diet in the name of asana. Period! I'll live with my adipose tissue, I don't think there's too much of it anyways.

Yoga-ish: May 2010
http://justtherightamountofkate.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 10, 2010. The one that didn't get away. Tittibasana B is here to stay. I can't think of a single other asana that came one day and never left again, but I guess this is the one for me. How come these difficult poses are so much easier once we are finally able to do the "full" expression? Perfectly straight and smooth? Out out damned wrinkle! And how much harder is Mari D or Yoganidrasana when your hands are flailing and fingers streetttttttching trying to get that connection? I went to my fir...
