We'll see how these cure, the last batch cured within 24 hours. I hope/expect the same from this third time around. Monday, January 22, 2007. Two More Blanks Cut and Done. Monday - January 22, 2007. Put the sign up early this morning and went to school. After lunch we started up again for the day, released our plank from yesterday, cut off the excess and began to press that together for our next board. Jon came to work today. So that's good. Once this plank was set we started milling down our freshly laminated plank. Again, designed some shapes, cut them out, and perfected them. That makes 5 boards. Epoxy - nada mas.

Wednesday, January 24, 2007. Epoxy - Second Round. Wednesday, January 24, 2007. Yesterday I sanded the last plank down and prepared it for shaping. Early this morning I put together some 2x4's and built a drying rack. After classes I came home and cut the sixth board into it's symmetrical egg/oval shape. Then shaped it and cleaned it up. のんびりタデ科作物（蕎麦・ルーバーブ）栽培生活. ここは養分十二分なので茎が太く、葉も大きく光合成はバッチリな感じ。その代わりに強い雨風に遭うと倒伏必死。柔らかいし、伸びすぎているし、雨が降ったら倒れそう（もう、半分あきらめ）。やはり、いくら標高７００ｍにしても7月播きは早い。来年は7月播きは厳禁。上下揃っているらしいし、遠目には良さげな石臼に見えましたので、車を停めて降りていって観察。いい材質だったら「こんな場所にどうして石臼を置いてあるんですか？」と、家の人に声をかけたんですが。近年、自家用のジャガイモがおいしくないので、今年は光合成が盛んになるように栽培方法を変えてみました。すると、デンプンが白くなってほくほくになりました。バターを載せて食べたら久しぶりにうまい！ソバにも同じことをしたので、ソバもおいしくなればいいんですが。デンプンぎっしり、タンパク質もぎっしり。播種して16日目のソバ。降雨の水分が残っているうちに播種したのでぐんぐん生育してやや軟弱な感じなので、まだ雑草は少ないが管理機を使って中耕と土寄せを決行。しかも近づくと臭い。どうやら何か香辛料を買った際の空...
