He's The Light House: The Gentle Whisper...
http://hesthelighthouse.blogspot.com/2009/12/gentle-whisper.html
He's The Light House. Tuesday, December 1, 2009. The bible quote from 1 Kings 19 at the start of this blog was the answer to my questions to God during my loneliness and feeling of abandonment, a real downer! My questions as to why should God's children have to feel this way, and where God was in the midst of their turmoils? I spoke with my friend - my supervisor and he gave me permission to take off early as there weren't any pressing matters at work. I know you hear me God, I know you hear me! To race ...

Les aventures de Mademoiselle L.: Hazelnut Latte
http://lesaventuresdemademoisellel.blogspot.com/2011/05/hazelnut-latte.html
Sunday, 1 May 2011. Today we went to see Thor. In 3D It's good we packed our 3D glasses, because otherwise you have to pay for them - they're no longer free. I guess it's a way to protect the environment as you don't throw away things you buy, but at the same time it's another way for the cinema to make more money. I did like the movie, but I was expecting a little bit more. Clock at Trafalgar Square measures time till the Olymic Games 2012 begin in London. By Emma Donoghue sitting on the same bench, whe...

Reading in Reykjavík: September 2014
http://52books.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Home of the epic TBR list. Formerly (Another) 52 Books. My book haul for August 2014. Missing is The Real Animal House: The Awesomely Depraved Saga of the Fraternity That Inspired the Movie. By Chris Miller. I lent it to my brother, who is a big fan of the movie (I sort of bought it for him too). I haven't yet read any of them, but I will probably start one once I finish one of my current reads (I'm juggling three books at the moment). I already had an older copy of Regency Buck. He's The Light House: Does everyone have a chance to Salvation?
http://hesthelighthouse.blogspot.com/2010/09/does-everyone-have-chance-to-salvation.html
He's The Light House. Sunday, September 19, 2010. Does everyone have a chance to Salvation? I had often wondered if some are destined for nothing but destruction and damnation in life. How could a God who loved his creation - man, whom he created in his own image be that way - create some who are destined for destruction? It would appear that God had predestined the Pharaoh and the Egyptian army for self destruction inorder to display God's power in delivering the Israelites. He was in Denial! Then came ...

He's The Light House: December 2009
http://hesthelighthouse.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
He's The Light House. Friday, December 25, 2009. Unless the Lord builds A House. A Psalm of Solomon) says,. Unless the Lord builds a house, the work of the builders is useless. Unless the Lord protects a city, guarding it with sentries will do no good. It is useless for you to work so hard from early morning until late at night, anxiously working for food to eat; for God gives rest to his loved ones. Apparently, it was a known fact to Abram and the rest of his family that Sarah was not able to have any c...

Les aventures de Mademoiselle L.: Mixture of emotions
http://lesaventuresdemademoisellel.blogspot.com/2011/04/mixture-of-emotions.html
Sunday, 17 April 2011. I had a really long talk with Dom-dom (for 3 hours) and she told me to be brave and strong. She gave me courage that I can speak when I'm accused and to let the things simply pass me by. I hope I'll be able to do that. I was packing today, cleaning and just preparing. I also watched the entire coverage of London Marathon and it was so inspiring! So I guess the next post I'll write will be from my bedroom. Posted by Mademoiselle L.
