KEEP UNITED IN D.C.: MacFarlane Aswers Fisher...
http://keepunitedindc.blogspot.com/2008/03/victor-macfarlandclass.html
Thursday, March 6, 2008. Victor MacFarlane and Marc Fisher. Marc, my policy is not to participate in this manner, but so I guess this will have to be an exception. I enjoyed your posting and I don't view you as a hater of soccer. I thought the posting was fair and balanced reporting. Do I believe a D.C. United stadium in Anacostia would make a difference to the development of the overall program and its progress to completion? This portion of my professional career is dedicated to making a difference in ...

KEEP UNITED IN D.C.: September 2008
http://keepunitedindc.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 23, 2008. Sure everyone has they're own reasons for why they'd be less inclined to drive just that bit more around the beltway, but why does it seem to be such a universal value among it's fans that United should remain playing in the district? Why are fans so stubborn on this issue? Maybe it's the same reason Kevin Payne is. Let's hope this new study from PG county forces the councils hand and United can get to work on it's real stadium at Poplar Point. All in all though we should...

Saturday, November 8, 2008. In my last post. I claimed that Tom Soehn had an ADR this year of 3.11. What does that mean? Is that good or bad? Well as readers of this blog know, I've been passing down player ratings of either "Top Shelf", "Call", or "Rail" to players after every match. I've also been tracking those ratings over the course of the year, and displayed all of them here. Now let's take it one step further. Jaime Moreno: 3.94. Francis Doe: 3.86. Bryan Namoff: 3.71. Clyde Simms: 3.57. Ryan Mille...

http://dcumd.blogspot.com/2009/12/curt-onalfo-to-dc-united.html
Monday, December 28, 2009. Curt Onalfo to DC United. DC United has announced Curt Onalfo as the team's new head coach, and I'm having a hard time getting excited about it. Actually the emotion I'm feeling would be better described as relief. I don't know if the team is necessarily settling for Onalfo, but I'm relieved to have the coaching search done and behind us. Exciting or not, Curt Onalfo is certainly well qualified, and should be a capable coach for our immediate future. Posted by Martin Shatzer.
