Pick Up & Delivery. Earth, Wind, and Flour Believes that it is Important to Get Involved. Having spent more than 30 years in the same location, watching the children of our patrons grow up and begin bringing their own families and children to our restaurant, we have a great deal of pride in our community, which is why we believe that it is so important to get involved. One other fun way that we at Earth, Wind, and Flour like to get involved with our community is by inviting classrooms of kindergarten and...

My UBBT 10 Living Heroes (In No Particular Order): April 2007
http://10livingheroes.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
My UBBT 10 Living Heroes (In No Particular Order). Friday, April 27, 2007. Many homeless people regularly receive tickets and fines for infractions such as sleeping in the park, panhandling or urinating in public. These fines add up and create a financial burden. It is especially frustrating to the homeless, particularly those who are trying to get off the streets and turn their lives around. There are strict requirements as to who is eligible to get their charges cleared in homeless court. Persons w...

Life, Work, MBA and then some. Veni, vidi, vici. Thursday, March 1, 2012. First post of 2012! I've been remiss. I really meant to be more regular on this blog but life kept me soooo busy that I kept putting off updates till I got time to catch my breath. (Which BTW is yet to happen - i.e. catching my breath.). But I started using Twitter today to tweet about the UCLA-TED talks. Participated in a Global Innovation Challenge. And my team got selected in the top 5 out of 60 global MBA teams! Which aims to c...

Recycling Your Books
http://thinkingtomorrow.org/recycling-your-books

Although this is not 100% acceptable as printed books provide different experiences and sensations for the readers, we also have to think of this matter – if the newly device such as E-Books and tablets become some people’s choices, where will the printed books go? A great idea to be considered is – recycle them! There is also a website which facilitates children...

My UBBT 10 Living Heroes (In No Particular Order): Brandon Keefe
http://10livingheroes.blogspot.com/2007/04/brandon-keefe.html
My UBBT 10 Living Heroes (In No Particular Order). Friday, April 27, 2007. In 1993, 8-year-old Brandon Keefe sat in a corner at the Hollygrove Children’s Home, waiting for his mother to finish talking. All they had was an empty space and lots of kids without books. When Brandon entered 7th grade at Chaminade Middle School, he again suggested a book drive for a commu...
