The Bookers Embark on Family Life in Florida. Wednesday, April 1, 2015. They Call Her Dr. Worm. Harper is doing "a little worm research" this morning. The Booker Pack: March 2014

The Bookers Embark on Family Life in Florida. Monday, March 24, 2014. At dinner tonight the conversation turned to the subject of morality. Specifically, theft. At one point Brad turned to Harper, who was listening intently, and asked, “Do you know what stealing is? 8221; “What? 8221; Harper asked. “Stealing is when you take something that doesn’t belong to you,” I answered and Brad added, “… because you lack moral fortitude. Do you know what moral fortitude is? A minute later she returned with this:.

The Bookers Embark on Family Life in Florida. Tuesday, March 17, 2015. St Patrick's Day 2015. Happy St. Patrick's Day! This year Brad was out of town and I was desperate to keep the kids active and busy until bedtime so we went to Lowry Park for the traveling Chinese Festival of Lights display. The lights were pretty and Harper LOVED the Chinese acrobats. She insisted we watch both. The 7:00 and 9:00 performances (she even bartered away her bedtime story in order to stay and see the second show).

The Bookers Embark on Family Life in Florida. Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Will is FINALLY getting his first tooth! I should say. The two bottom ones are just poking out. We're thrilled that we won't have to outfit him with dentures after all. This may or may not be the aforementioned greasy spoon. (Spoiler alert: it is. ). Prospina was probably in her eighties (at least), about 4'9" and weighed about 80 pounds soaking wet. She wore a red, polyester pant-suit and her steel-colored. Monday, April 28, 2014.

The Bookers Embark on Family Life in Florida. Monday, September 8, 2014. So my dear friend Narelle included me in a Facebook challenge to list the top 10 books “that have made a lasting impression.” I have to say, had one heckuva time narrowing it down to ten but I tried to concentrate on the challenge as specified. So, here they are, in the approximate order that they were introduced to me. Enjoy the walk down memory lane! The Adventures of Tom Sawyer,. I agree. However, Tom Sawyer. Sixth grade was tumu...

Leslie's Blog: Our Missouri Experience
http://momwest.blogspot.com/2013/04/our-missouri-experience.html
Tuesday, April 16, 2013. Saturday, March 29, 2013. At 2:00 pm, Craig Dansie, Steve, and I packed our things and three horses into Craig’s truck and horse trailer and started for Boliver, Missouri. Craig informed us that there would be frequent stops during the 20 hour ride. Riding in a horse trailer is very hard on the horses because they are constantly shifting the weight on their legs to accommodate the road. This makes frequent stops necessary. When Steve stepped out of the cab, he noticed that the tr...

Monday, May 20, 2013. I am NOT an oil painter! Do not attempt to dussuade me; I have come to grips with it. I am writing this even as I am wiping globs of paint off my face. I look like I went three rounds with my palette. I am presently working on the three-panel room divider I made in wood shop back in Taft and I so apologize to my shop teacher for defiling our hard work! Another brush issue is brush control. I can draw just a bout anything and make it look good. Nevertheless, a pencil and a br...Skill...

Friday, July 26, 2013. What are the odds? A funny thing happened on my way to a yard sale:. I found one of my old lamps for sale! I walked up their driveway and exclaimed, "That's my lamp! I made that lamp! I had everyone's attention within hearing range. It was then that your father got out of the car and walked up to the lamp. He had kindly consented to accompany me. Because my yard-saling-buddy had opted out.). What are the odds? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). What are the odds? View my complete profile.

Saturday, September 22, 2012. Confronting My Inner Cowgirl. I have loved horses as long as I have memory. My first recollection was of praying for a pony nightly and checking the garage in the morning to see if it had been delivered yet. I was about three years old then. But, as Mom explained all along, it belonged to the previous renters. Eventually, it disappeared. The Greenies was a group of little girls with ponies that practiced mounted drills. (I thought they were called Greenies as a satire on...

Sunday, April 22, 2012. Something to Think About. This was emailed to me by a very good friend, Katherine Hetherington. After reading it, I wondered if it was true or not. After doing some research, I have decided that it is probably authentic. You may research the sources and decide for yourself if it is an accurate account of the translation of the Book or Mormon into Afrikaans. Die Boek van Mormon. By John M. Pontius. When morning came he telephoned Elder Clark to inform him that he would begin the tr...

Tuesday, November 20, 2012. 65279;. Brownie in a bad mood. Brownie's mane was flopping all over the place and I felt he needed a more sophisticated look. To get his mane to lay on one side, I had to put it in braids for a while. He expressed extreme annoyance with my work and great dissatisfaction with his appearance. Then again, he had no idea what the end result would be. Is it just me or does he look like a sissy in this photo? I have GOT to take a good picture of him. The question is. Unfortunately...

Friday, February 17, 2012. Dear Leah, Brad, Micah, Bess, Jared, and David,. Please do not be alarmed, but I am seriously thinking of adopting another son, even though he doesn't look a thing like your father. He is a multimillionaire, knows how to train horses and riders, and has a nice smile. In other words, this one is a keeper. Saturday, October 27, 2012. Large Dog Phobia and a Real Parallel. I love dobermans. We've owned three now and are toying with the idea of getting another someday. You have to own one to really understand what sweethearts they are. They love to crawl up in your lap and snuggle. However, some people think large dogs are dangerous. The first dog that ever bit me was a nasty little wad of fur some lady was holding while talking on the phone. "No. My dog never bites anyone," she said, and it bit me. And, as w...

Friday, October 28, 2011. I've included this article in my blog because it deals with a very pertinent topic to all of us. Although it mentions a few scriptures unique to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and includes some quotations from the leaders of the church, it is predominantly backed by Biblical scriptures. It has answered a lot of questions for me and I am hoping that it does the same for you. Tho the heavens depart and the earth’s fountains burst,. Eternal, unchanged, evermore.

The Booker Pack
The Bookers Embark on Family Life in Florida. Saturday, September 23, 2017. We were so lucky to have Nana and Pa Booker come for a visit this week. Living across the country and then moving interrupted what would have been their annual trip to the east coast to see us, so it's been a while since they've visited with the kids. Of course, we were having so much fun I forgot to get the camera out until just before we drove them to the airport. Brad met us there for the send off. Monday, August 14, 2017.
