Monday, May 14, 2012. A little piece of adulthood, a little too soon for this Mama! On Saturday night, during dinner, Lourdes lost her first tooth! I thought she would be excited. She was excited but she was also frightened. She cried and felt scared by the whole event. I gave her lots of hugs and played up how big this was. I told her she has her first piece of adulthood now. Saturday, May 8, 2010. I swear she's not old enough, but apparently I'm wrong. Time sure does fly, my first baby is officially registered for Kindergarten! Registration was Wednesday night and we brought both of the girls. Luli has been very excited about registration and could not wait to go. When we walked in the school, I got a fluttery tummy. And, well I won't lie, I teared up. I'm emotional, what can I say! Who has a contract Teaching position? I DO I DO! It's official, I will be teaching 5 th.

Sunday, June 6, 2010. Fireworks, Neighbors and a 10k. The girls were jazzed for fireworks since Thursday's display and they stayed up all day and night asking NON STOP when it would be time. Seriously at 2pm they were asking, umm ladies we need a little thing called NIGHT TIME! Luli was still running around even though she was ridiculously tired. Wednesday, August 24, 2011. My neighborhood book club is a ton of fun and I love the variety of books we are reading. This month we are reading Barbara Kingsolver's. This book has honestly influenced me in a way very few books have. It is probably a combination of this book and the documentary. Monday, June 4, 2012. My town has two clean up days a year. You would not believe what people put out for trash on those clean up days! My neighbors last year went garbage picking, and I was envious!
