Book Review: The Cone-Gatherers by Robin Jenkins. July 30, 2016. July 30, 2016. Fiction; Historical Fiction; Scottish Culture; Classics; Academic. I had heard much controversy about this book, especially in the world of academia. A renowned text studied at SQA Higher English (Equivalent to A-Level in England) in many Scottish secondary schools, I was filled with trepidation as to whether or not this book would be ruined by my inevitable over-analysing of it. Grab your copy of the Cone-Gatherers here.

My Little Free Library. August 10, 2015. August 10, 2015. Shelby @ Bookish Royalty. Okay, time for another personal story. I’ll try to keep it short and sweet. Last week, I finished a project that is very near and dear to my heart. This was part of something that I worked on while I was still in high school. I established a Little Free Library in my community. This would not have been possible without the encouragement of my FCCLA advisor and the support and help of my amazing family. August 4, 2015.
