The Readings of a Book Nerd. Sunday, August 7, 2016. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Dreams DO come true! I was so excited to get my hands on this book and of course, I devoured it. Heading into it I was a little apprehensive. Do I even like reading plays? Will it be worthy to carry the Harry Potter name? My answer is YES! It is amazing and wonderful and so much more then I expected it to be! I was literally giddy with excitement reading this book because it surpassed all of my expectations!

The Readings of a Book Nerd. Saturday, July 30, 2016. I am not going to lie to you- this was the most confusing book I have ever read. I am not exactly sure why I stuck with it and read it until the end. I guess I was hoping for a magical moment where the author tied everything in and gave me that "ah-hah! When I finished the last word in the last chapter of the book, the only thing I thought was, "How in the hell did this book ever get published? Don't read this book. Seriously. It sucks.

We had our first ever BBQ at our home to celebrate Father's Day, and can you say it was fun! I am not one to throw parties or dinners, but luckily this one turned out ok, I think:) We were able to use Ethan's new BBQ that he got for Father's Day, and turns out he might be a master griller! I think everyone had a good time. I love summer, BBQ's, and family! Showing off the growing belly. How could you not love that face. Papa Kelly and Brooklyn. Cousins are the BEST. Ethan is the BEST dad to her!

2012 was a great year. It also was the hardest year of my life. I was lucky enough to marry my amazing husband at the end of 2011, so 2012 was our first year as a married couple! I love my Ethan James more than anything. We have grown together this year especially with a lot of hard times that happened. Some big things that happened in 2012. But I know it was the right thing to do! In July we found out we were expecting! Big news for us! It has turned out to be such a blessing and life changing thing!

Brooklyn LOVES that doll. Star Valley Half Marathon Recap. I am so worried that I will not get my goal of getting it under my goal of 1:59, but all I can do is try my best. I do not know how the race will go on Saturday, but I have trained and hopefully that training is enough. I sure do love running half marathons! It is the perfect distance! One of the BEST CHEERLEADERS! Brookers is 7 months. I can not even tell you how crazy it is to hear how old my little princess is. She is already 7 months old!

Ethan as we all know is one of the most outgoing guys in the world! That is why he is such a great teacher! Last year some teachers from the school Ethan teaches at (North Layton) started a new tradition of performing a fun song at the end-of-year talent show. How will I be able to do it? After multiple freakouts that my poor husband dealt with, I kinda had a day that really helped me. Ethan took me to the temple for a date night. When I was waiting at the end, it came to my mind that I am due just about a year after my mom passed. Coincidence? Ethan has been so great. He has put up with the nausea, vomiting, emotional moods, tiredness, cravings, and everything else that I have experienced. As for now, all we need is the nausea to go away! We have fun together.

Getting ready for baby sister to arrive. Feeding the ducks at Weber State. Daddy trying to be as stylin as Brooklyn. Brooklyn LOVES horses, thanks to Grandpa Wilford. Last year she was terrified to even touch a horse, this year we had a tantrum when we took her off "Bo". She loves animals. If only I could be as cool as Brooklyn. Family night walking around the Ogden Temple, followed with ice cream after. Swimming as much as possible this summer. Brooklyn LOVES the water! First time on a jet ski.

First taste of summer! Today I had my first taste of summer. I had my first taste of watermelon! Summer is going to be here sooner than I expected! Along with the watermelon, I got to enjoy the beautiful sunshine, finishing my USU finals. Never again am I going to take 22 credits! Hanging out with some awesome girls, and actually getting a little relaxation time! I am also so glad that I was able to spend the weekend with my cute little niece LUCY BELL FAUSETT,. And her proud parents SaraAnn and Aaron!
