Sisterhood of the Traveling Books

Sunday, April 17, 2011. The Weed That Strings the Hangman's Bag (Flavia de Luce #2), by Alan Bradley. Like the first book, I really enjoyed this book. Flavia's character is so delightful and clever, that you can't help but be pulled into her adventures. I give it 4.5 stars and a PG-13 rating. (It really is very clean, but some of the situations would make it this rating.). Posted by Lisa Brown. Friday, April 15, 2011. Academy 7, by Anne Osterlund. Posted by Lisa Brown. Friday, April 15, 2011. StarCrossed (Thief Errant #1), by Elizabeth C. Bunce. I had been pretty excited for this book, as I loved the first book by this author, and I have to say that I wasn't disappointed. The story of Digger, a thief who is running for her life, and finds herself thrown into the company of a group of nobility, who take her in and give her a life. Posted by Lisa Brown. Sisterhood of the Traveling Books: The Bourne Identity, by Robert Ludlum

http://www.booksacrossthemiles.blogspot.com/2011/04/bourne-identity-by-robert-ludlum.html

Friday, April 15, 2011. The Bourne Identity, by Robert Ludlum. I think I would have enjoyed this book so much more if I hadn't listened to it, because the reader was particularly boring, which had the side effect of making a very exciting story, sound boring. Oh well. I think I would still like to finish the series, but I will just read them, instead of listening. I give it 4 stars and a PG-13 rating (for violence and swearing). Posted by Lisa Brown. Meaningful Moments: Sweet Innocence

http://rochellesreasoning.blogspot.com/2011/03/sweet-innocence.html

Things Kids Do and Say. I gave Thatcher a penny and he held it in his hand, staring at the fountain, being ever so thoughtful of a wish. "Do I say my wish when I throw it in mom? Nope, you don't tell anyone or your wish won'tcome true. Just say it to yourself, turn around and throw it over your shoulder! Make it a really good one! Thatcher turned around and closed his eyes and as he tossed the penny over his should I heard him whisper, "I wish for no more bad guys in the world.". Cup Bake Shop Cake.

100 Things About Me. Counting My Many Blessings. Getting a Laugh Out of Us. Sisterhood of the Traveling Books. Saturday, April 10, 2010. Faces have been changing around here for my girls. The first face that changed was Logan's. She had to get glasses. Doesn't she look cute? Her eyes aren't too bad, but I think she enjoys seeing everything a little more clearly. The second face to change was Maika's. She had to get braces for her extra jacked-up teeth! And J after lunch? Lost her second tooth! Nalani is ...

100 Things About Me. Counting My Many Blessings. Getting a Laugh Out of Us. Sisterhood of the Traveling Books. Monday, October 19, 2009. This cute little girl just turned 8! Now, a funny story. Last night she was complaining of a sore throat and said it made her talk weird. I told her to go to bed and get some rest. Her next question? Mom, if I wake up weirdly tomorrow can I stay home from school? I couldn't help but crack up! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Sunday, October 12, 2008. Just a little pat on my back. Don't you love how our kids get to be spotlighted and what-not in their classes? What it should really be called is: "Mommy Homework." I think I did okay, how about you? Such a good mommy. Love the new look btw! October 12, 2008 at 9:17 PM. Glad you added the Pee-Wee Hermans to the poster! No poster would be complete without them! October 12, 2008 at 9:53 PM. I'd give it an A! Good work, Mommy. Cute! October 13, 2008 at 10:38 AM. 100 Things About Me.

Dysfunction at its finest. Tuesday, August 23, 2011. Ready for a new school year. These three couldn't wait to get out the door for school. They were just a little excited. Maddox has been counting down the days for a few weeks to go to his new school. He started a new program this year that requires him to attend a different school than Remi and Avrie. Because Maddox's new school is a little further away, he gets to ride the school bus every day. He couldn't wait to get on his way. He made.
