http://booksbobbins.blogspot.com/2014/09/sewing-plans-jobs-and-grad-school.html

Vogue Sew Along- I need to cut out the pattern pieces this week. The quilt top will probably be finished by the end of the week, but batting and backing for...

Where reading and sewing intersect. Thursday, May 14, 2015. Making in May: Update 1. I thought I would post a brief update on my goal to sew/crochet at least 30 minutes every day during the month of May. I’m still in the second season on that show. Later this week I’ll switch over to the Roman Shade project and should be able to crank that out this weekend. Which means I better get completely caught up with Scandal so I don’t sit and crochet all weekend. Have a lovely weekend! Friday, May 1, 2015.

The Fairy who tore her wing. October 14, 2016. October 14, 2016. In Children. Reading for children. Imagination. Once upon a time, all the fairies in Fairyland who had been good were allowed to come down to earth for one whole day. They could fly away at sunrise on the strict understanding that they must be home before the sun had set. Esmerelda was usually the naughtiest fairy, and very noisy, but she had tried very, very hard to be good, so she was allowed to go with the others. Soon though, it was tim...

The original was done by Gordon Lightfoot in 1974. I was around then :) and I remember the original. I heard it often. Links to this post. Tuesday, August 11, 2015. Finally ...
