Tuesday, September 09, 2014. First Day of School. He's a hop skip and a jump away from more and more independence. It's the way of things. Today is the first day of 4s. Preschool 4. He seemed like he might have been nervous? I don't know he's changing a bit and it's not presenting as honestly as it had in the past. He's developing pride. Not needing mom so much in public? Wednesday, July 28, 2010. Hello, Time Warner Cable? If you don't negotiate and keep ABC / ESPN / DISNEY, we will be dropping your coverage and switching to Dish. Not that month, not that week, that DAY. What doesn't get eaten up by taxes, I guess. So, my point Time Warner, is that I already really, really dislike you. Think about what these stalling tactics mean for the millions. Who've lost their jobs since the recession began. Over the past several weeks, more than two million of them have seen their unemployment insurance expire," the president said. Not once, in that article, does it say how far unemployment benefits have been extended. Neither does this article.

Friday, August 17, 2012. Several days ago, maybe even a week, G and I had a good day. This isn't to say the rest of our days are bad, or that we have only had ONE good day, but it was a good day. Monday, February 04, 2013. Grady at 5 months. We happened to be at the doctor today to recheck his ears so the weight is accurate. He only gained about 5oz in the last two weeks, which makes me kind of sad. But, as my mom said he is moving a lot more, and rolling over and standing more so he's just probably burning more energy. Oh wait it says 12 months . oh well! Roll up the sleeves! And I don't think Chalupa likes it much either. So we're upping our solid foods from the tummy and intestine sticking...

Monday, August 17, 2015. Twas the Week Before Kinder . I was doing great. And then I packed his backpack with the school supplies and it hit me pretty hard. He's starting school. He will be with his teacher more during the week than he is with me. I won't be the most important person in his life any more. My influence will diminish, if even just a little.
