The Pig Scramble by Jessica Kinney, illustrated by Sarah Brannen. The Pig Scramble treated us to rich illustrations and a poignant, intelligent plot that kept my kids talking. Somebody Else Can Not Be Somebody Else. Wise sayings from my daughter, foolish things I've done as a father, and the general goofiness that is parenting and childhood. Monday, September 15, 2008. The Littlest Critic and I spent Sunday at the zoo and it was the perfect day. The cheetahs were pacing and I kept trying to get good pictures with my camera phone, but it's a bit hard as camera phones totally suck at photos. I fiddled with some of this, demonstrating my poor photoshopping skilz.
