Monday, 17 August 2015. Last week the lovely Booksniffer. Was kind enough to do a cover reveal of my very first picture book. You can read the blogpost here. What she didn't mention was that she also bunny-sat a few of the cast and crew for a few hours so I could put my feet up. They tell me they were very well behaved. Friday, 22 May 2015. Apologies for the huge gap in blog posts but I've been very busy working on my first picture book. (Hooray! Here's a picture of it at the Bologna Book Fair this year with the lovely people at Andersen Press. Who are publishing it. It has been so much fun to work on but completely consuming as it's absolutely jam-packed from cover to cover. Tuesday, August 30, 2011. Insert some kind of lion pun in here* A Roaring Great Post, perhaps? I forgot to put my lion character sheet up, alongside the colour piece yesterday. Not surprising, since we are talking about a day during which I managed to burn my tummy with the steam from a microwave meal. THAT is the level of success I expected from yesterday. Saturday, 1 July 2017. Here comes the SUN. To celebrate being part of this fabulous blog tour Little Sniffer and I decided to make a picnic tea inspired by some of the things we spotted in Sun. The latest seasonal delight from illustrator and author Sam Usher. The first little chap to catch our eye was the charming little green parrot on the front cover. With his delightful green plumage and perky yellow beak he leant himself perfectly to a fabulously fruity Crudités creation! We forgot to make a bow tie!
