I really loved the way Keira Cass created this world where everybody is determined by castes which makes America different to a lot of the other contestants. I think what gave the book a bit of zing is America’s love for Aspen preventing her from choosing Maxton, which as a reader we can see the obvious signs of Maxton wanting America to want to be with him instead of just a friend.
