McCann Family: McCann Olympics
http://mccanngang.blogspot.com/2012/08/mccann-olympics.html
Thursday, August 2, 2012. I know it's been a while since I last posted. I can't promise that this is the start of posting on a regular basis again, but this was just too good not to blog! Today, we had the McCann Olympics. It. was. AWESOME! The kids had a blast. It's been pretty hot lately and the kids haven't wanted to play outside. (We took a 30 minute walk the other day and you would have thought I was torturing them! The Olympics not only got them outside for a while, but they enjoyed it! Molly is pr...
McCann Family: January 2012
http://mccanngang.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 31, 2012. Yesterday we went to the McWane Center. The kids LOVE the place! I really think they could go every day! It wasn't crowded at all when we were there, so they were able to do everything that they love whenever they wanted. It was great! I couldn't pick just one photo, so I took the time to load a few. This is a small glimpse of our day. Colin worked very hard to pull himself up in the air. We blew giant bubbles. Colin did a little construction. It was really great fun! Today sta...
McCann Family: April 2012
http://mccanngang.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 13, 2012. Back by popular demand. Here are a few of the Easter pictures I took. We went to the Birmingham Botanical Gardens again this year. I was slightly disappointed because due to rain and cooler temps, we had to go in the afternoon when the sun is less friendly to photography. Many of our pictures have harsh shadows or really squinty-eyed kids. Thankfully though I got a few really nice ones. Enjoy! I think they clean up pretty nice. Posted by McCann Family. McCann Family: November 2011
http://mccanngang.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 8, 2011. After we got our pumpkins, we had a little photo shoot with them in our yard. Molly loves to pose and have her picture taken. Colin, well, he humors me. This shoot was spur of the moment. I wanted to see if I would like the trees in our yard as a back drop. We didn't even brush Molly's hair before taking the pictures! I think we got a few really great ones anyway! We had a little tiff happening here. Posted by McCann Family. Posing at the entrance. Colin petting a bunny.
McCann Family: July 2011
http://mccanngang.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 5, 2011. I hope you had a wonderful weekend celebrating our nation's independence. On the 4th, I took the opportunity to have a mini-photo shoot with the kids. Colin wasn't all that cooperative. He was hot! Read that with whine in mind! Molly, ever the poser, did well. The kids played with poppers. Later that night, we let off a few "fireworks" and lit sparklers. Colin called them sprinklers! Our sparklers were duds, but it was still great fun. Finally, Colin smiled. They are too cute!
McCann Family: February 2012
http://mccanngang.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 13, 2012. Last week, we made Valentine boxes. Our school group had a contest. So, we thought up two great ideas and collected supplies. On Thursday, the kids executed their designs. They had fun making them and were super excited about the contest. They were also pretty excited about giving and receiving Valentine's Day cards. Colin with his robot, "Colin - the Robot of Love.". Molly with her box titled, "Butterfly Love.". Colin won 2nd place in his age group! Posted by McCann Family.
McCann Family: May 2011

Monday, May 2, 2011. It was a complicated process, but I finally figured out how to save these pictures and load them on here. It really should have been way easier and honestly, there probably is a much easier way than how I managed to do it. But, it's done, so I won't bore you with the details of how I had to accomplish it! I was told that there were 37 people in this basement and all lived and are thanking Jesus for protecting them! Posted by McCann Family. Sunday, May 1, 2011. I know that our church ...

Thursday, May 24, 2012. Colin still wanted training wheels, so we had a hard time finding a bike for him. This one seems to be working out well. Molly is an old pro. I really thought she would struggle jumping to such a large bike, but she had proved me wrong! Sprinklers make the heat so much more bearable. We are looking forward to what the summer holds. It seems we are off to a great start! Posted by McCann Family. Thursday, May 3, 2012. 2 Trip to the Birmingham Zoo. Pretty 7 year old! 5 Build A Bear.

McCann Family: Smorgasbord
http://mccanngang.blogspot.com/2012/05/smorgasbord.html
Thursday, May 3, 2012. This is a bunch of random events. I thought I would try to give you a very quick overview of the last month or two. Enjoy. Colin asked for a Monster Truck cake. We came up with this, a monster truck, on a ramp, ready to jump cars and a flaming 5. Blowing out the candle. I think Molly was getting ready to help! 2 Trip to the Birmingham Zoo. You've seen the pics I took at the Botanical gardens, but we also had an egg hunt. Michael is sure all his were found, but then, so am I. ;).

BOOKS WHISPER
Monday, September 23, 2013. A FEW GREEN LEAVES- BARBARA PYM. Barbara Pym’s unique novels of English life had an uncertain status during her lifetime, but since her death in 1980 her reputation has grown steadily. Now her books are spreading a great interest to readers of the world over. Met in a French blog, I wanted to discover her style myself. I began with A Few Green Leaves. And fell in love with her writing right away. In A Few Green Leaves. I loved reading A Few Green Leaves. Though nothing, really...
