BOOK SALON

Where the elitists hang out. The White Darkness by Geraldine McCaughrean. Reviewed The White Darkness. For us back in January, and I was intrigued enough by her description to request it from the library. I was frustrated by the beginning of the book, and I'm still a little irritated that the narrator was so passive, but this was a beautiful book. I wish I had the original copy in which I stuck post-it flags on the most remarkable passages. Searching for her original review, I realized. July 6, 2008.

If you don't comment, I will not add you back, because I won't know you added me. If you're looking for my CW RPS fiction, friend. 50 sparkles Faerie Dust?

Claxton Dong: Save Our Star: crossposted
http://crossposted.livejournal.com/51609.html
Claxton Dong: Save Our Star. Is a time-travel series, recommended from age 9, about equality between children and adults. I love it and have started a community for it. The official site, SaveOurStar.com, no longer seems to work, but archive.org. Has archived versions, such as this one. Where you can read excerpts from the books, among other things. Schools are different from most of those today, but not as unconventional as, say, the Sudbury Valley School. Post a new comment. Post a new comment.

A Plague of Doves - BOOK SALON
http://booksalon.livejournal.com/92725.html
A Plague of Doves - BOOK SALON. Where the elitists hang out. A Plague of Doves. I am reading an absolutely fabulous book right now, A Plague of Doves. By Louise Erdrich. This is the first novel of hers I've read and its so good I wonder if I will be less or more wowed by her previous books when I get to them, and get to them I will. It really feels like this might be her masterpiece.
