Book Thoughts

Monday, 19 May 2014. The Red House Mystery. My reread this go around was The Red House Mystery written by A.A. Milne. I discovered this book during my semester abroad in London. I was in an English class that focused on the evolution of British mysteries. I was assigned this book for my book report once we reached the 20s whodunnit phase. I was very excited to read a mystery written by the same man that wrote the Winnie the Pooh books. Could he pull it off? The Red House Mystery. View my complete profile.

Miss Miller: May 2014

http://missheathermiller.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html

The wonderful and crazy life of Heather Miller. Sunday, May 4, 2014. Here is a little glimpse of my spring so far:. I started out the month of April with Spring Break at home. The weather was typical for the San Luis Valley, VERY windy and chilly. I was hoping I could spend some time outside and perhaps get in a little golf but nope, 5 straight days of wind, wind, and more wind. I basically spent a lot of time inside. I got to visit my grandma several times,. The weather so far has been pretty great....

Miss Miller: October 2012

http://missheathermiller.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html

The wonderful and crazy life of Heather Miller. Tuesday, October 23, 2012. Originally I planned on going down to St. George and Zion National Park for my Fall Break with some friends. October was busy and time kind of got away from us so that did not work out and my break was spent at home in Salt Lake. I didn't mind one bit however because I think being at home and able to relax was exactly what I needed. And then my facebook got hacked. So after that I was sure glad to get a little bit of a break.

Miss Miller: July 2014

http://missheathermiller.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html

The wonderful and crazy life of Heather Miller. Tuesday, July 8, 2014. Once my classes ended, I was able to feel like my summer officially began. Most days include sleeping in, going the the gym, spending time outside, reading, and watching movies. It's a tough life! The rest of my summer plans include going home to Colorado, visiting friends, going on more hikes, and hopefully camping a bit. Then before I know it, school will be starting again. The American Authors, Script, and One Republic Concert.

The wonderful and crazy life of Heather Miller. Sunday, December 2, 2012. Thanksgiving and November Wrap-up. That always helps brighten my day. I also got to go home for Thanksgiving break. I was at home for a whole 3 days and it was wonderful. We broke tradition and had Thanksgiving dinner at our house this year with my sister's inlaws. The food was amazing and the company enjoyable so it was a great day. Other highlights from the trip home include:. So overall, wonderful trip. And another big perk ...

Miss Miller: November 2013

http://missheathermiller.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html

The wonderful and crazy life of Heather Miller. Sunday, November 3, 2013. October was a very busy month. My parents were here for 8 days at the beginning of the month and we crammed in as many activities as we possibly could. We went on a little hike to enjoy the fall colors as well as the first snow in the mountains. We attended a session of General Conference. We were able to sit really close and Mitt and Ann Romney happened to be nearby. We had a ladies night and went to the Josh Groban concert. The s...

Miss Miller: July 2013

http://missheathermiller.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html

The wonderful and crazy life of Heather Miller. Wednesday, July 17, 2013. One of my goals for the summer was to do some DIY projects. I love working with tools and building things so I picked three projects that allowed me to do just that. It was also nice to express my crafty side for once. Project #1-Simple Yarn July Wreath. This took about an hour and was super simple. You wrap yarn around a foam wreath and add stars. That's it! I found some foam glow-in-the-dark stars that worked perfectly. This one ...

Miss Miller: January 2014

http://missheathermiller.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html

The wonderful and crazy life of Heather Miller. Monday, January 6, 2014. Here is my 2013 year in review:. One major highlight of the year was receiving my endowments at the Albuquerque Temple in April. Through the temple I have discovered greater happiness and have filled a void I didn't know was missing. I'm proud of my decision to go and am thankful to have temples close by to go to often. I also crossed something off of my bucket list by going to Washington DC. WORD OF THE YEAR:. I absolutely love the...

Miss Miller: January 2013

http://missheathermiller.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html

The wonderful and crazy life of Heather Miller. Sunday, January 20, 2013. Strep, Strep, Strep, Strep, Strep. Here is a picture of my tonsils the night before surgery: Warning, it is disgusting! Thursday, January 17 was the big day. I didn't get nervous until we were ready to go inside. Sarah was able to take some time off to help nurse me and we had to check in at 6:30 am. I got signed in, dressed, got my IV then at about 7:45 they came to take me to the OR. See how swollen my Uvula is? I don't have any ...

Sunday, May 15, 2016. Compare and Contrast: The Sky Is Everywhere and Cut. The two books that I will be comparing and contrasting are The Sky Is Everywhere and Cut. I read both books this quarter. The blue. You didn't even look up Lennie. Okay, the green. Really, I don't care what shirt you wear. Then I rolled over in bed and fell back asleep. I found out later that she wore the blue, and those were the last words I ever spoke to her.". Sunday, May 8, 2016. The Sky Is Everywhere. I like this book so far ...

My Life In Progress | A Year of Living an Epic Life

My Life In Progress. A Year of Living an Epic Life. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. In the Beginning…. March 20, 2014. What happens when you’re turning the corner toward fifty? In my case, I felt the need to do something truly epic. I posted the question on my Facebook page asking friends and colleagues to share their suggestions and experiences. What did they do to celebrate their fiftieth birthday? While these were all great suggestions (and the tattoo is under some consideration),.

Book Thoughts N Things. Mostly book reviews but some other things. Lands of Ash by H.L. Burke. I received this book free in exchange for an honest review. 8212;———————-. The characters in this book are ones that you are immediately inclined to like or dislike. There really is no in-between with these characters. It’s either love or hate. You are rooting for the characters through everything and hoping they will win or at least get out alive. 8212;—————–. 8212;——————-. This is a great green tea. I was...
