In going through Dent Rapids and Yuculta Rapids we nailed the slack water exactly. The out station was pretty full, but we both got alongside docks. We came to La Connor instead of Friday Harbor because we are concerned about the weather going out of Cattle Pass tomorrow. It will be a much easier trip for us to go from here to Edmonds tomorrow. We had an easy trip in light winds and clouds. What wind there was was in our faces again. It just won’t give up. Native American facility in La Connor. Both boats have a little trip tomorrow to return to their own moorages, but we have decided that this is the official end. We had the nicest day of the whole trip coming down here from La Connor. Follow Boomerang's trip to South East Alaska. Day 75, July 29: Silva Bay. Here we are in Silva Bay. We left from here on May 19 after staying here for an extra day waiting for the weather. We left going into a strong NW wind. It was the first day of our trip of wind on our nose. We will be going out to dinner here tonight and then on to the SYC outstation at Roche Harbor tomorrow. We will be working the tide to go through Porlier Pass and then down inside the Gulf Islands. Date : July 29, 2011.

An OK trip with calm in the morning and about a 12 knot wind on our nose the second half of the trip. (We are tired of the wind on our nose.). Oysters in the cockpit, last night and tonight.
